Makes sense, but as Fowler says you should do the silhouette comparison with the third cowboy from the left. More likely to be Marston.

It will be amazing if a young John Marson is a secondary character in this game. Love that shit.

Maybe Dutch used to dress like that in the middle when he was younger. I also think John Marston is the one on his right and Bill on his left. The woman is definitely Abigail.

Or they could all be new characters.

Sorry to be THAT guy, but if Nintendo were planning to reveal the NX this week, do you think all this Red Dead hype will make them think twice?

Can't believe there was someone saying that calling a Rockstar announcement an "event" was hyperbole. Their games blow everything out of the water when it comes to the mainstream, even when compared to something like Call of Duty.

If you want proof of this - my dad just text me about the new Read Dead teases. A man who hasn't played a video game since Robocop 2 on the ZX Spectrum.

An official announcent coupled with an announcement for a remaster that will also come to PC seems very likely at this point.

That would be cool seeing as how we'll probably wait 2 years after release for the current gen version to come to PC. But I doubt they're gonna remaster it since the initial code was fucked.

A R* reveal at this point is the biggest thing that can happen in the gaming industry outside of a hardware reveal. GTAV has shipped over 65 MILLION copies.

Red Dead is going to be enormous and like I've said before, when they announce their launch date every other game better move the hell out of the way.

Permabanned.
Since GTAV has sold almost 3 times as many copies as Nintendo has sold Wii U consoles, they just might want to think about timing here.

i don't get how announcing red dead would stop anyone buying a NX though. this hype around Red Dead is huge but if nintendo do a reveal they'll get good coverage and attention.

People have said that the code for Redemption is an absolute mess, so any form of remaster is highly unlikely.

Yeah, a straight port would be unlikely. But if was re-done from the ground up in the GTAV engine, like some rumors suggested? That's a lot more plausible.

This obviously wouldn't happen, but it would be hilarious if they announced it was coming out just before Watch Dogs 2 considering what happened with the first.

Overall, he looks just like a more leaner, younger John Marston to me.

Nah. Mark my words, that's Dutch. My explanation is, he used to wear clothes like this. John Marston copied his style (different hat) because he always looked up to him. JM is on his right for sure.

Pretty sure the consumers interested in Red Dead are not the consumers interested in the NX, nor are they the demographic that Nintendo is targeting anyway.

Although I also doubt this is a RDR remaster I hate the idea that just because "the code was fucked" people think this was a reason to no bother.

God forbid people put actual work into a remaster, and instead just upscale it and put it out the door.

The sales within the first hour of a RDR remaster release would pay for the costs of development and then some.

"I had a cool experience; there's no guarantee I'll ever have anything like it again. I thought, screw it, if anyone wants me for anything, they'll call me." So Wiethoff left Los Angeles behind. Once again, he became a small-town man. So far, no one has called.

He was perfect as Marston. I just don't get how he didn't get more offers in the industry.

I've not been THAT excited for any game reveal in a long time... Can't wait for official reveal and first trailer!

Two titles I would like.

1) I always like going back to simpleness, so Red Dead is fine by me.

2) While it doesn't match the RDR title line, and probably takes too much from all of these wild West type things having numbers, but Red Dead Seven (referring to the seven guys) also has a nice ring to me.
