Tossing another noun in won't hurt!I'd be down for the game just being called "Red Dead".
I was thinking the same thing. Definitely a possibility.
Wrong hat though.
Makes sense, but as Fowler says you should do the silhouette comparison with the third cowboy from the left. More likely to be Marston.
It will be amazing if a young John Marson is a secondary character in this game. Love that shit.
Polygon has a great article on it.

And? does he have to wear the same hat?
Sorry to be THAT guy, but if Nintendo were planning to reveal the NX this week, do you think all this Red Dead hype will make them think twice?

no. they will be fine if they reveal the NX.
An official announcent coupled with an announcement for a remaster that will also come to PC seems very likely at this point.
why is a remaster likely? An official announcent coupled with an announcement for a remaster that will also come to PC seems very likely at this point.

Can't believe there was someone saying that calling a Rockstar announcement an "event" was hyperbole. Their games blow everything out of the water when it comes to the mainstream, even when compared to something like Call of Duty.
If you want proof of this - my dad just text me about the new Read Dead teases. A man who hasn't played a video game since Robocop 2 on the ZX Spectrum.
Since GTAV has sold almost 3 times as many copies as Nintendo has sold Wii U consoles, they just might want to think about timing here.

People have said that the code for Redemption is an absolute mess, so any form of remaster is highly unlikely.
Groundbreaking insight.
Wait, so if you're not comparing clothes, what criteria are you comparing?
Dual weapons!!!
that's very not plausibleYeah, a straight port would be unlikely. But if was re-done from the ground up in the GTAV engine, like some rumors suggested? That's a lot more plausible.

Overall, he looks just like a more leaner, younger John Marston to me.
Would be awesome but the Sheriff in Redemption pulls two revolvers at times and as the player you can't do it.
but would they spend time doing that? i'd prefer if they just focus on making a new game.
A R* reveal at this point is the biggest thing that can happen in the gaming industry outside of a hardware reveal. GTAV has shipped over 65 MILLION copies.
Red Dead is going to be enormous and like I've said before, when they announce their launch date every other game better move the hell out of the way.

That would be cool seeing as how we'll probably wait 2 years after release for the current gen version to come to PC. But I doubt they're gonna remaster it since the initial code was fucked.
They have more than one studio.

"I had a cool experience; there's no guarantee I'll ever have anything like it again. I thought, screw it, if anyone wants me for anything, they'll call me." So Wiethoff left Los Angeles behind. Once again, he became a small-town man. So far, no one has called.
i know that but my question still stands. would they spend time and money doing it? surely it's better used elsewhere.
