Also i damn hope Nintendo is smart enough to avoid any link between the WiiU and the NX... They alreadt have one of their major title being a WiiU game. They should stay 1000km away from anything sending the "it's the same thing" message to people. At least.

Keep in mind, Sakurai chose Cloud over characters like Terra or a Black Mage for a Final Fantasy rep because he was by far the most popular and iconic choice, relevance to Nintendo be damned. If he wanted to include an SMT rep I'd imagine he'd go through a similar process.

I mean considering we got cloud and ryu to go with the Street Fighter V and FFVII Remake hype it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for Bandai Namco to try to do something like that with Jin and Tekken 7.

Granted though i'd much rather someone else if we did get more characters, but I wouldn't complain if we did get him.

Good point but it feels a bit left field even with the 3DS game Project X Zone, time will tell but there's no doubt the NX is getting Smash.
