I just hope that BOTW Wii U version will come in the same day as NX. Fuck Nintendo if they do the same thing they did with TP Wii and GC versions knowing that's the only real Zelda for Wii U and a game that people bought a Wii U for.

Some people bought PS3 for The Last Guardian.

If there is a Switch mhxx switch port, I hope i'll be able to transfer my mhx save. I'll pass otherwise, don't feel the envy to play those 120 hours again..

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Hope MH XX will be a launch game in the west too. Zelda BotW, Skyrim and Monster Hunter XX - i would be good for the whole year lol.

Be happy that you are still getting it lol.

This is the day my daughter is supposed to be born...

Sorry Nintendo but you're going to have to wait a little while. Good thing is my birthday is the 26th so maybe I'll get a nice present. Doubt I'll get much time to game but that's not a priority over my daughter.
You shouldn't let important life events like the launch of a new Nintendo console be ruined by something trivial like that.

The launch day lineup is what makes or breaks this. Price isnt an issue if the games they got are worth camping out for.

At the end of the day, it's all about the games but a competitive price also plays a huge role.

Even if Switch has the best launch lineup ever seen, a high price point may scare people away.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see different bundles with different storage size, accesories and games that go from $250 to $300. Even $350 if they feel too cocky.
Sell your product to different target audiences so everyone is free to chose whatever bundle fits their needs the best.

I've preorder the switch @ gamemania.
So i hope i'll have it day one. I couldn't preorder zelda yet, because they doesn't have any information yet if it will be released at launch.
This shop will receive 50 switches.

I really doubt that they really already know how many units they'll receive.

17th is Friday!!! This is awesome!!! That will be a glorious weekend!!!

If they convince me with the games of course...

If they don't, it will still be glorious, because I will play Zelda on my Wii U anyway.

Sounds about right. Every single day of waiting in March will be extremely painful though.
At least now you can distract yourself with non-Switch things until the year's over.

On my birthday :D I am happy about this. Haven't been this hyped for a console since I was young enough to be excited about my birthday so this is perfect.

If Zelda is not a launch title for Switch, Nintendo would have failed.

Their E3 was mostly about Zelda. Their social media accounts spammed the hell out of Zelda until Pokemon came into spotlight.

Not only that, the very first game shown in the Switch reveal trailer is Zelda. Nintendo is clearly positioning it as the premiere title for the system and its "console gaming at home or on the go" concept.

And the game has been delayed out of two full calendar years already.

I love Nintendo, but if they can't manage to make Breath of the Wild a Switch day-one title, they're a complete joke.

Fortunately, I don't see it missing launch.

I expect nothing of significance like some old port at full price while the other systems get a sequel or something.

"Some old port" could mean only one thing: XCOM 2 and that's mighty fine by me. Playing XCOM 1 on the go on Vita was amazing but XCOM 2. It will be glorious on Switch.

Sadly, no launch-Sonic game is announced yet, though :(.

That's not really a shame. In fact, it automatically increases the average quality of the entire launch lineup by 10000% if it stays this way. At the same time, you might argue that people should have the choice to buy shovelware if they want to.

I might be in the US when they launch in the UK, but if they release in the US about the same time I hope its region free! I might not be able to handle the wait back hah, I come back to the UK on the 28th.

Considering that the second delay was most likely purely with the goal to have it as a launch title and not because of development issues, the game is most likely done by now and they're only doing polish.

It's an almost exact repeat of Twilight Princess.

The game was done since July. It's been in the polishing phase for quite a while.
