Anyway, lets go back to FFXV, I really hope it does have a world worth exploring and the combat to be deep and fun. Xenoblade Chronicles X and the Witcher 3 have beautiful worlds that made me explore for hours and hours, I hope FFXV will be the same.

It really makes me wonder about the future of the franchise. Will the continue to take feedback at the level of this game? Are ATRs going to be a norm?

Like all patches, you cannot begin downloading it until you have the game. Or at least that's how all PS4 patches have gone.

All of the ones that were ordered yesterday, he said he shipped them out at like 3 pm est, unless he did more orders after that... i know he sold like 25 in the morning to early afternoon. Either way, I think some of us will be seeing it tomorrow, and friday might be an overestimate due to thanksgiving.

I swear that i encountered all these issues on 1.01, it's ok not to trust my judgment and i don't feel offended at all, i totally understand.

Are the first five chapters that bad? Gotta say I'm more excited about just hearing the banter between the bros during those chapters more than anything.

I mean, we've just had a thread with people across the board really liking the first five chapters. I dunno where the sentiment of it being bad came from. Jason's already played through the preview build which is why he wants to know how it is after Chapter 5.

Not at all, i meant that iirc Mr Press Sneak Fuck himself said he had a great time with chapters 1-5 and the reception was pretty unanimous, so i was just wondering if this feeling continued later, since i guess he's under NDA and can't say much else.

Yeah it's a sentiment that I've seen been thrown around lately. I guess it's because that's all they shown.

Game's not out in Montreal,Canada.

Felt like a beggar going from best buy to ebgames,only to find is not out anywhere 😭

Its just sitting in a storeroom somewhere when it should be played 😭

I usually don't read full write up reviews for games I know I'm going to buy, but I am excited to see your write up.

There's no way in hell a main chain like those are going to sell early. I mean Best Buy would have been the better choice of those two, but even then it's highly unlikely it would run through the till without being flagged. You need a Mom and Pop store 9/10 times. At least for UK and US anyway. I've literally never heard of any chain breaking street date without the publisher permitting them to do so. Which SE should totally do.

The video game store i use to work in quebec got their copies... but the thing is he really don't want to get caught selling them before street date, a stupid store got caught by ubisoft and since that time he is really careful, it doesn't worth the risk... so next step
Go steal it, i'm probably still have the key somewhere, i'm kidding....

Your best bet is to just use google to find whatever stores you have within a distance you're willing to travel for it, then call in and see if they have copies and will sell before release. I don't think any chain whatsoever will break dates as it flags the system. They'd have to either not ring it up and pocket the cash themselves or put another game through instead and fuck the inventory system up a bit. Generally it's a huge pain to deal with for the staff to try and circumvent.

If you can find some smaller family stores that are receiving a shipment within your vicinity though they'll likely sell early as there's nothing really holding them back from it.

Still probably my most favorite FF ending (not counting VII and X).

I'm really digging the music fade-ins during exploration in Judgement (though if I can jukebox Noctis' phone with classic FF world map music that's going to be pretty hard not to give in to).

I've been staying away from everything FFXV related because I don't want to be spolied by anything so don't want to read through thread but I would appreciate if someone could let me know if early impressions of game are good. Man I hope they are I need something to just get lost in the way things have been lately.

Another question, any word on if there's a big difference between versions, X1 and original Ps4? If it's just like 1080 compared to 900 with equal frame rate performance that's not a big deal to me. I like playing on my X1 better because controller and I game share with a buddy and would like him to have the oppurtunity to play the game if he wants to. So if it's just a bit lower resolution no big deal but if there's a big difference I would obviously rather get it for PS4. Thanks in advance for any info and have a good one you all.

So the copy of the game i ordered on ebay just arrived in NJ (my state).... estimated date is still friday, most likely will see it tomm though! HYPE!!!!

PS4 looks significantly better than X1 on FFXV.

Press previews of the first 5 chapters were positive.

Final Fantasy has always meant much more to me than Souls, but I never, ever want to get myself too hyped for the FF games. I will restrain myself from posting too many characteristic-types of posts but I will gladly share my enthusiasm once I actually start playing the game.
