If legit...largely interested in seeing if/how they'll integrate MonHun into something like this. It's been time to finally see a Rathalos or Zinogre tear into a Sentinel, Devil Dinosaur or another "big target" that the Marvel side could produce. And it'll only make that much more sense if they're going to try pushing the series more with a new (groan) Hollywood movie by Paul W.S. Anderson.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, as well. The cited reason being is that they didn't want a game like MvC to make for an "established" look for a Hunter, when the Hunter is supposed to be a player avatar.
Of course, it remains to be seen if that rule still applies, since Monster Hunter Stories finally has a "default look" protagonist in Ryuto and his Rathalos. Or they could just cut out the middleman and just use a monster like Rathalos, instead. And again, if Capcom wants the series to get bigger in the West, the team's original wishes may have to get compromised, anyway.

I can see it if it was partly developed by Sony or funded by them ala SFV. Given the deal Sony made with Marvel, I could see this being feasible.

Man would a PS4/PC release completely fuck over the Xbox crowd, then again, you could argue that without Sony the game isnt going to happen.
I'd prefer Classic Mega Man. Isn't Zero just a Red X with a laser sword anyway?

I wanna see Howard the Duck and Dr. Wily. After that they can do whatever the fuck since most other characters I can think of have already been in a MvsC game.
Also morbidly curious if the X-Men would be fucked over or if Marvel/Disney have loosened up their 'no characters from movies Fox own's the rights to' rule. Guess that extends to Dr. Doom and Deadpool, though I was under the impression for some reason Deadpool had been exempt from that rule this entire time? I definitely see a ton of merch of him all over the place.

As mentioned earlier, the X-Men have been getting a bit of a second-wind as of late, so all hope isn't lost for them being in MvC4 (if it's happening).
I'd rather it be funded. Dont think SCE makes fighting games apart from PSABR which was..yeah

After SFV I don't think Sony would want anything to do with the development of a new fighter from Capcom, let alone fund it.
As I've said like a goddamn broken record at this point, there's a rumor that Marvel Entertainment's loosening up on the "no Fox characters in post-CoC games" thing sometime next year as part of their improving relationship with Fox. If it's true remains to be seen, but the increasing amount of X-merch is a good sign (though based on my research, Funko is the main one benefitting from this right now).
