They did not mention any kind of exclusivity on the new Marvel game. They only said UMvC3 is PS4 exclusive.

Which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever unless Sony sent them huge money hats. That game was massive on 360. Then again, Capcom seems to get pleasure from fucking their fanbases, so maybe they agreed to it without being paid for it.

But that model sounds it's worked pretty well for Killer Instinct. So maybe not a bad thing? I'm just cautious.

So does this mean that, at least for fighting games, Capcom has decided to fuck Xbox?

Not platform begging, as I would get a PS4 to play them if I need to, but I'm just legitimately trying to figure out what the hell they are thinking with this strategy that makes no sense unless there are just massive money hats coming from Sony. Capcom is slowly destroying everything I love about them except fighting games, so I'm trying to figure out if I should give up all hope on them ever coming to Xbox or not.

PS4 seems to trying to make their console the defacto FGC hardware. Not sure if it's working but that seems to be the strategy between them and Capcom since the beginning of this generation. I just wish if they were really serious about making PS4 the "fighting box" they'd port over the excellent Iron Galaxy Darkstalkers and SF3 ports from last gen.

I'm looking forward to gameplay tonight but I'm a lot less hyped right now than I would have expected. Seems we can expect the game on multiple systems though which is cool.

I'm actually fine with 2v2, because that probably means they will bring back Variable Cross and refine it so it won't be as busted (It's Mahvel, it will still be busted though). It is the team super, where both characters come on screen and you take turns controlling both at once, but they probably won't give them infinite super like in MVC1.
