Good luck to you. I learned my lesson after the 3DS and Wii U never to buy Nintendo hardware at launch, but to each their own.
What lesson? Both systems have good libraries.
With a framerate of 30fps, uninspired art direction, ridiculous load times, and input lag? I don't think anyone should support it.Psssttt.... Buy Bomberman.
Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.
Consumerism run amok.

Anyone else planning on getting Hollow Knight whenever it gets released?
At launch? No, not really.

Same here. I guess the biggest selling point to me is the idea of being able to play Zelda BoTW half naked in my bed, super comfortable at will. Amazing what tech is becoming.
Absolutely, but I'm concerned about how little we've heard about the Switch version.
They used to say "not long after the platform launch" but lately they've been saying "later in the year."
I want to play this portable to bring back the Castlevania DS memories but I don't want to wait too long.
My point is you still got the system anyway and didn't really save much if you had waited. Heck the Wii U didn't really even have a price drop so you would have paid pretty much the same on that system except would have had it for less time. What do you really get by waiting?
OP? You mean most of the posters in this thread, surely? I'd say this is a textbook definition of a troll post.
Well I saved money on both 3DS and Wii U so to me it was worth waiting, plus I had something that I actually wanted to play.
Buying things is fun, new technology is exciting.

But how much did you save over what period of time and then create a backlog in the process? Is it worth saving $50 by waiting 2 years? That's $2 a month.
let's seeThe money is not an issue. Doesn't seem like it takes up much space either - why cancel?

Wii U had a great launch. New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land and Zombi U are some of the best games in the library and then there's some great ports like Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Batman Arkham City (late port but my favourite version of the game). It isn't one of the best launches of all time but it's better than most.At launch? No, not really.

The Wii U's OS was barely functional at launch. It took them months to fix it.
So what? What does spending $300 now versus $300 a year or two later mean in the bigger picture other than you missed out on two years of usage. If I'm going to buy the system anyway, I might as well get more usage out of it.

Why not fully naked?

You get to miss the section of time where it's a bad experience to use?
Quality over quantity is a thing.
You're talking about buying a console by Nintendo, masters of the software drought.
