The "teabagging" imitation has gotta be the lamest thing I've seen in SF in a long time.

If you're hot shit and wanna taunt your foe, you have a taunt input/animation. It's such a chickenshit way to seem "cool" or "hype"

There are a lot of lame things. That was just Xiao giving Du some of his own medicine. Normally I am indifferent to it, but I'd say Xiao earned it.

Exactly. Every time they faced each other Du would tbag him. He even embarrassed Xiao Hai when he went to the tournament in China lololol, stole his soul

Oh yeah I was aware of that and I stifled a chuckle since Du got pwned with his own little trademark, but it doesn't change the fact it's overall stupid.

It's a sad attempt to taunt your foe and makes the teabagger look weak instead of looking strong.

Daigo taunting guys with Ken back in 3rd Strike when he was whooping their ass was pretty cool. A dude tapping down multiple times instead of using his designated taunt while outright trying to taunt his foe just looks scared and juvie.

Taunts in 3rd Strike were a mechanic though. So Daigo's Ken taunt actually did something like increasing attack damage.

0 chance because the 2.5 patch is already announced and no real Cammy nerfs on there.

And Capcom doesn't do pre-EVO patches.

And Cammy hasn't really won anything of note in season 2 yet.

Not happening. Capcom has actually made the character better since the game has released. They would have hit her with the nerf bat already if they were going to do it. She's the character Capcom wants to be easy to pick up in this game, not Ryu.

Cammy and R.Mika are Ono's two favorite characters. Every time Capcom nerfs one they have to buff the other. It's in the contract.

They got a long history going back to SFIV. Xiao Hai has never beaten Du before tonight, as far as I know, and Du teabags and disrespects him all the time when they fight. Tonight was Xiao Hai getting his, basically.

No beef, just returning the favor. Knuckledu beat Xiaohai a lot late last year when he had his run as the top player in the world and he teabagged him basically every chance he got, which happened quite often I think.

This is what I imagine will eventually start happening to Punk by Summer or Fall this year. He's seems unbeatable right now, but it's not going to stay that way forever. Other players will catch up, and I'm sure a few of them will want to repay him back for all the teabags they received from him.

Luckily for Punk he is always gracious and gentlemanly in his comport so even if he starts losing he is sure to be treated with kindness by the rest of the FGC.

Ken's taunt gives him a ~30% damage buff.

As much as a villain as Wolfkrone is, when he beat Xian, he actually did a real taunt. I was shocked.

Say what you will about the guy, but he respects noone and nothing. Because he's so hated, he's ready to body EVERYBODY in the ugliest way possible.

Dude is the real villain the FGC needs.

Apparently Du only teabags because SFV doesn't have the Guile shades taunt.
Taunts are kinda wack in SFV in general. Don't know if you can cancel them early like you can do in 4. Du didn't even know how to do a regular taunt in SFV till a few weeks ago

taunting in 3s wasn't optional, it gave you buffs. Q getting off 2 taunts gave something like double his defense, it was crazy. And I keep sayin, we need at least some more win poses and taunts in SF 5

Every Friday I end up remembering partway through the workday that this will be on. I was going to say that I'm looking forward to it but it looks like tonight is a preview airing and the semis and finals are next week. So I'm guessing no new matches tonight? Or maybe we'll see some exhibition matches from people who didn't move on
