I have played it. The end gave me so many emotions, no game ever have done that earlier. It's an amazing game, it's a shame so many people gets turned off by its controls etc. Everyone should really play and experience it. True one of a kind.

There is a lot of salt in this thread about Scorpio. If mean, if you're one of those console warriors, you still have sales and a lot of exclusives to throw in the faces of other gamers that couldn't care less.

I can say I've never been an Xbox person, and while I'll be watching Microsoft's presser tomorrow for the first time in years, I couldn't care less about the Scorpio. They're teasing a much improved games lineup, and that's where my interest (and a ton of others') lies.

Sony never marketed the Pro as anything other than a definitive version of the PS4 that has just enough extra power to display impressive results on a 4K television set, so it should not be too surprising if they announce PlayStation 5 for holiday 2018. History should have informed Pro buyers that generations typically last 5 years before entirely new hardware is introduced. That said, do I expect them to announce new hardware? Nah. They will probably give Scorpio some time to determine how it affects their market share.

So PS5 in 2018 would be there shortest gen yet but yeah they mostly likely going to see how Scorpio sales effect them.

My prediction is once they hit 80+ million consoles sold thru is when they'll start to seriously concentrate on the future. They hit 60 million shipped in april. They could potentially have as much as 80 million shipped/ 75 million sold thru by end regular year let alone the fiscal year in march 18. By then youll start to see substantial funds allocated to research and development. The far out games like the last of us 2 and death stranding carry the systems last main year and also serve as ps5 launch titles in 2020.

Spring isnt exactly slow anymore. Especially for ps4 owners with spidey, gow, days gone, mlb 18, add far cry, eas new game, dbz something else this fall that might get pushed back, probably mortal kombat 11, and those 3rd party japan ps4 exclusives like, dissidia, digimon, they are going to have a hard time finding a place for it.

I'm with you Dahbomb. It has been a good amount of time since Itsuno announced his working on his next project, and it's not unreasonable to think that it would be DMC5. Sony also said Japanese publishers were coming back to the PS4 in a big way and they will demonstrate that at their conference.

I'm a PS4 and Switch owner. I like Xbox too. Just waiting for Microsoft to actually impress me with games.

Greg miller had a prediction that the square Enix avenger game might be exclusive to Xbox. Maybe this it.

Here's a thought that just came to mind. With so many asking for SOCOM, why doesn't Sony just do a simple remaster of Confrontation? Sort of like they did with Beyond Two Souls.. seems like it would be a decent idea.
