yeah they have a couple of classics on there and a show that most people say is a crap adaptation of an okay manga...no broad appeal at all which you need for a block like this.

I actually hanged out with some Nerdist employees at SDCC but that was 4 years ago.

Also: I got my SDCC badges today.

My line of thinking is "Spiritual Successor" is something or someone you would describe as having a similar feel to, but still its own identity. This block is literally just airing shows that Toonami has.

Not to mention they're LITERALLY SHOWING A SHOW TOONAMI HAS AT THE MOMENT.

Also, based on the wording, are they going to show both seasons of Tokyo Ghoul at the same time? Why?

& really, it only has 4 shows. Even with the rerun slots, Toonami has double that at the moment.

It looks like
there's some pretty big limitations on his ability though. He needs to be in emperor time to use it (it looks like there's going to be another limit placed on that) and he needs to physically drain their aura (not just copy the ability). So I don't think he can do it in the middle of a fight, much less against the troupe.

That article is outlandishly terrible reporting because that block is only for the UK and the only way you can figure that out (because the writer who farted that out to fill his weekly quota or whatever is surely unaware of this) is if you click the ANN link and either know that the referenced Sky TV is a UK thing, click the press release ANN linked, or click into ANN's comments thread and see "UK" in there. ANN's US site does not have that article because it's posted to their UK version presumably but they have no distinguishing features to designate their UK site as a UK site if you were to, say, search for the article in question in Google.

I'm going to do a bunch of Naruto either tomorrow or this weekend.

Trigun Tuesdays, Naruto weekends. I'll play games other nights. Need more gifs in my life.

Working back through my projects chronologically I'll start Bleach filler after one of those finishes.

So there is a Berserk announcement coming up... if its a third season I might just give up on anime altogether

Please, no more Berserk anime. Unless it's from a different studio and it's a complete reboot that ends up being faithful to the manga and has art & animation on the level of HxH or Jojo.

At least Shokugeki no Soma is coming back.
