That feeling when you wear a Pens Stanley Cup Champs baseball cap and remember why you haven't worn baseball caps since you were 17 when that shit still fit your head properly.
I used to agree until New Era started putting out their low profile 59fifty hats. They dont look giant and stupid like the regular ones. Theyre pretty great.

It's better when I put it on backwards, but I'm also thirty-six years old and look too juvenile. When I wear it forwards, it look okay from the front, but my profile is ridiculous.
Backwards hats are so dumb.

2017 is a good time to evaluate the 2012 draft... not the 2017 draft.

I don't agree with that. 2017 is a good time to reap the rewards of the 2012 draft, but not the right time to evaluate it.

The draft may be a lottery, but you need to use your lottery tickets wisely to be successful, and it's easy to see when a team isn't doing that.

the 2nd rounder was also pretty good... and can't complain about the 4th rounder

everything beyond that was rough

was the 4th rounder the goalie? meh...

I don't think AGally is getting traded now. I feel like it would already have happened if it were going to. I feel like Radulov will sign wherever on July 1 and that'll trigger AGally's new contract soon thereafter.

Drouin-AGally-Lehkonen second line.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Apparently the consensus among analysts is that Detroit had the worst draft by far.

Amazing that fans were calling for Holland to be fired 3 years ago and ownership just lets him keep running this team into the ground.

B-b-but Detroit has the best front office ever and are the kings of drafting unknown superstars.

Next time you hear somebody say that, tell them it isn't 2001 any more.

Yeah I'd go Brannstrom, Valimaki, Liljegren, Foote. Though I don't know a great deal about any of them. Liljegren seems like a high risk, high reward pick. But definitely a great prospect to fall in your lap.

Lamoriello balked at relinquishing two first round picks in exhange for Hamonic. He did make some creative plays in between though - his best offer apparently included next year’s first round pick and the pending free agent winger, James vanRiemsdyk.

Lamoriello thought it was enough to get the trade made. But when dealing with Garth Snow, the Islanders general manager, you’re never quite sure how anything is going.

What the fuck are you doing, Lou? Christ. Good thing Calgary was dumber.

the way i see it...

Liljegren is the most talented defenseman in the draft

Brannstrom is the most intelligent defenseman in the draft.

Any of you guys got tips for Nioh? I keep getting bodied by the two handed bigger guys -_-

Feels like I can't damage em and I'm down in 2-3 hits max on a light build

I went sword on low stance against the big dudes and dodged a fuckload. Widdled them down to low health then switch to high stance to finish them off.

The low stance dodge is super quick and uses little stamina.

Make sure you get the skill that lets you ki pulse on a dodge.

You also do more damage from behind so dodge behind them well they wind up their big attacks and wail away. Elemental weapons help too. If they're slowed from cold or on fire they are easier to deal with. Draining their ki, again by wailing on them while they attack, will make their stamina bar flash red and they basically take double damage. Smash the oni's horn with an arrow/throw a rock to do this too.

Biased Leaf fan here, but I like Liljegren the most of the defensemen that went in his range. Watching him, it's very clear that he already possesses NHL ready skating and shooting ability. Even physically he doesnt look too far off. I certainly think he'll play in the big leagues, but whether that's in the bottom 4 or top 4 will depend on if he improves his decision making.

Bottom 4 or top 4 eh? What if he's on the 2nd pairing, is that top 4 or bottom 4. My mind is blown. It's both *BOOM*

One thing for certain, you can always improve hockey sense if you are a prospect. I mean look at Ceci, Lazar, Cowen, so much improvement. 🙊

You can look back 5 years at a teams draft picks and grade based on how those players have panned out. It's more that I find these day after draft day hot takes completely silly.

shadowkat is a loose cannon. We were playing Overwatch, when we won she said, "Hey why are we playing against AI?" Which rattled the opposite team, no respek for the game.
