that was thee most cringe worthy part in the game. not because of so called fan service but the fact that it was done so horribly it completely threw out what made the cast really approachable and sacrificed it for a generic jrpg fun quest .
im probably in the minority that actually preferred the less fan service of p5 compared to p4 (with the hot tub scene (2 in golden ) , the hotel , the kings game , etc etc )
Their names are spelled differently.Because this is Makoto.
You're not actually the only one who prefers less fanservice in Persona.
But guess what? I'm not one of them. Lol
There's a way to have classy and well written fanservice. It IS possible.
Anyway though. Yeah, that Hawaii trip in Persona 5 had problems. Various problems. Could've been alot more better.
I'm not saying that P5's writing is without faults (it's certainly not), but the way you keep talking about P5 makes me think that you didn't realize that P5's cast is fundamentally different from the casts of P3 and P4 (and the dynamic between those two casts is rather different as well). The Hawaii trip probably wasn't even meant to show off the cast's dynamic in the first place, but nevertheless contains one of the best dialogues in the entire game IMO.
I need a video of this @_@
Gameplay was great. Story was meh and there were a lot of different versions of the same songs. Still an excellent rhythm game tho.
I did see the new character in the vids. I thought she was supposed to be Nanako's friend or something lol, I didn't really bother looking up her backstory. It was this. Music and the remixes were actually quite good.
The dance game itself and the mechanics behind it are not that polished unfortunately. And the story and (new) characters are beyond awful.
I need dancing Iwai with the gun shop theme.I hope the selectable dancers are more than just the main P5 crew.
I want some of the confidants and other characters too.

Oh, I totally understand that the casts have are very different between games. And that's a good thing.
That still doesn't mean the group dynamic of Persona 5 is always good or even somewhat consistently good. There's times where it was great and then there's times where it was bad.
But before we even go in depth... just what are you talking about with the Hawaii trip having one of the best dialogues in the entire game???????

She's really cute... i really wish I cared about her.I did see the new character in the vids. I thought she was supposed to be Nanako's friend or something lol, I didn't really bother looking up her backstory.

The scene with Ann and Ryuji in the bedroom was pretty good. Don't take this out of context.
I wouldn't mind more slice of life moments in P5, but I also strongly disagree that the PT don't have good group dynamic. I think the bigger problem with P5 is that its "chill" scenes are too brief, while P4 would go into great detail to flesh out the interactions.
There are quite a few moments like these in the game, and these are also the ones in which the cast felt the most alive to me.Ryuji and Ann talking at night was definitely among my favorite moments in the game. It's a quiet moment in an otherwise very loud game about very heavy issues. It wasn't about the Phantom Thieves or whatever, it was just two teenagers talking about teenager stuff.
Man the fangirls crowd reaction for the 2 games is nuts.

That's right Atlus keep acting like the FeMC doesn't exist

Will they localise that version?VITA MOTHERFUCKERS!
Will they localise that version?
Hahahah, I was going to ask who the fuck would buy a rhythm game with P5's music. What a disappointment it was on that regard after P3 and P4.
All in all I think this may be a bit too greedy and may bite them in the ass. P4 had massively popular characters and amazing music. P5... not so much. And it has been quite a long time since P3.
Lmao 2 DAN's and no Arena.... Atlus pls.
still in for both tho
Yup, mine is when Yusuke is recruited and they send time together talking about their lives. Hoping for more scenes like that in the rerelease because we're definitely getting a lot more comedy scenes in Q2.There are quite a few moments like these in the game, and these are also the ones in which the cast felt the most alive to me.Ryuji and Ann talking at night was definitely among my favorite moments in the game. What were the issues with 4d? I've only seen videos of the game but it seemed to have a decent amount of songs unless the problems were more gameplay related.
On a somewhat unrelated note, now that Dance and Q2 are confirmed, we can basically assume P5R is coming, right?
Yeh I know they're busy with DBF it's just funny because I've been hoping for a P5A with characters from 3-5 in Xrd's engine and mentioned it in a few threads. Had a small hope something would be announced even if it wasn't gonna be ready for a while. I also expected a DAN and a Q2... I don't think anyone was expecting 2 DANs to come out simultaneously though hahaArcSys probably has their hands full at the moment. It'll be a while
