He is saying the right things.

At this moment.

However, how many times has he them gone and said or done something that either directly contradicts statements he's made in the past, or those of his administration? His words ring hollow. These fucking racist shitheels will still use this event and the attention to recruit.

And of course the coward scurried off without answering questions.

WOW. Color me shocked he finally actually called out these disgusting pieces of shit by name. It pisses me off that it took him this long. You know though at least he finally did it even though you know he didn't want to.

Sincere or not its good that he finally said the right thing, or at least something close to it.

Is it good though? I mean I'm not sure he accomplishes anything here considering the backlash he received for not doing it right away. He'd be foolish not to because now Republicans and Fox News and the like can go back to defending him.

Here's the exact quote if you missed it:

"The KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans."

Full statement:

”Racism is evil – and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equal. We are equal in the eyes of our Creator. We are equal under the law. And we are equal under the Constitution. Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America."

Good speech in my opinion. Won't say anymore, but I'm glad he called out the racist monsters. They are deplorable, and have no place on this planet.

Couldn't listen...any transcript or exact statement?

Thanks.

LMAO

The President being the last guy to condemn outpourings of racism and racist terrorists only after being upstaged by his GOP people and VP means 10000000000x more than this rehearsed speech written for you by Ivanka.

You had the chance to say all this and instead started stroking your dick instead of paying tribute to the victims of the attacks.

Get fucked.

The people who do this shit in his name and with his silent backing already know that he didn't want to say it and already know that this was a written speech he was forced to do by advisors after being told being silent on racism will hurt his numbers.

That was some insincere bullshit. That was a fucking campaign speech. Anyone who accepts this speech needs to have their intelligence questioned.

He lost everyone on Saturday but the alt-right; he lost the alt-right today with the condemnation. (Which is good for the rest of us.)

Just a dumb move in a series of dumb moves.

Yep, it ain't sincere at all. He ducked and diddled for 3 days until he was forced to.

Great, now Fox and Friends can applaud him for his "forceful condemnation" and the GOP can continue patting their backs about how they took a stance against racism while enacting racist policies.

Of course he doesn't mean it. What reason do we have to believe he does?

I don't know, nothing I guess.

Him saying it does mean something though whether he cares or not. If he chooses to undo things later then that's on him.

I though Mike Pence's comments earlier were much more convincing.

This is the best part. He's such a clown and doesn't know how to go about things that he'll end up pissing everyone off.

He's reading an Obama speech really well.

At least he's saying the right things.

Obama would have made this speech on Saturday. The 'many sides' speech was given before a signing of some veterans bill at an event that was already on his calendar that day. It took him the whole weekend for him and his staff to realize that this event calls for a special address to the nation.

Just took him two days and even fox news having a go at him to make it happen. Even then it was a prepared speech and no questions either.

Less than an hour IS later this week.
