You dont want to dig through over 7500 pieces for a step that uses both 2x1 grey tiles and 2x1 grey indented tiles that look identical from the underside?
Or the steps that use varying lengths of grey rod pieces?
Or look for the black roller skate parts for greebling?
Sensible. How are you supposed to riffle through a huge pile of pieces quietly while your little'un is sleeping?
Less the noise, more her on my shoulder and I can't bend to rifle through the pile! With me going back to work too I'll have even less time.
I have to say. Doing the death star has been really arduous at times even without her on my arm. Looking through 4000 peices is substantially harder than 2000 lol.

Oh, my! It fits! The Falcon actually perfectly fits on top of the AV rack. I dont like having it right near a window, but it fits perfectly and is on display.
So, I actually haven't done enough orders from the Lego online shop to know off the top of my head, so I should probably confirm: if I order something at the start of the October double VIP promotion, will I probably have the points applied to my account by the end of it, in order to be able to make a second order using said points while still in the double VIP period? Because that was my plan, which I'm hoping will work...

i'm pretty sure that is not a current LEGO piece. May be a really old LEGO part, but it doesn't smell like LEGO.

I skimmed through all the gold pieces listed in brickset and don't see anything like it. Doe the small point fit in a very small Lego hole?
Yeah. In reality it's the only big set I want for the son so I'll probably just get it now.

Only got through one more bag of the Falcon last night, got distracted with Blade Runner and playing some of the Battlefront beta. Should get through 15 when I get home from work before seeing 2049 tonight.

I built 3/4 of the first bag(s) of Palace Cinema yesterday. Really fun stuff, if this is the worst one that bodes well for the rest of the modulars. Until I get those my city display will look a bit off though, since PC will tower over the rest of my buildings that come from the creator 3-in-1 sets. Oh well. My SO really liked the tiling of the sidewalk, which I agree looks awesome.
Only four of each, wowww. My guess on the silhouettes for JL are Cyborg, Aquaman, Flash and WW. None of them look like Superman which is just insane to me to be missing a core iconic character. Same with Spider-Man. There's one silhouette that could be Spidey, one looks like Hawkguy.
Edit: Yea I'm pretty sure about the JL ones. The two with long hair one is definitely Aquabro and the other has a shield and sword. On the avengers ones Hawkeye and the one that looks like it's doing jazz hands is probably Falcon with wings. The one on bottom right I swear is Hellboy, but I'm gonna guess Antman.
No idea but if you had a bunch of them it would be cool to make a hanging chain fence with

Here we are on the verge of double VIP and I havent made my purchasing plans yet. I have $90 in points to spend (that I probably wont spend). Maybe some holiday stuff. Still holding out on price breaks for the rest of TLJ. So perhaps a modular or licensed set. Simpsons house has been waiting for me for awhile now.

No point spending your VIP points when double VIP is on, because you won't earn any points back. You only earn points when you spend real moneys.
If you have VIP points, spend them whenever, don't worry about waiting.

Didnt get the Falcon... and realistically wont for awhile. Theres just no place to put it. Ill eventually go the coffee table route, but not until I move to a new house, which is a good 2-3 years out at this point. Im sure Ive said it before but Im at the point where I need to take things apart and store them as it is. My First Order Star Destroyer is sitting on top of the Kwik-E-Mart and my Scuttler is accidentally attacking the Parisian Restaurant.
Have found that manual sizes and steps are funny across the variety of sets. Some have two booklets that should be one booklet. Some have FIVE that should be one. Some should be bound but arent. Some cover more on one page than others do in ten. Id assume it related back to the suggested age ranges and prices but I dont even think thats quite the case.
Having done OFS and the Star Destroyer recently, the Star Destroyer has a step on a single page where you add two pieces, while OFS has two steps per per page where you add like 12 pieces.

I expected it, but it's still a bummer.
My fingers are crossed that the last blacked out Last Jedi Brickheadz is Captain Phasma. I like storm troopers and I really like her color scheme.
I think Star Lord is one of the Avengers, since I think I see his dual blasters. Not sure about the others. One looks like it has the same arms as Hulk, but I doubt they'd do another Hulk already. If my hopes were to come true it would be a Hulkbuster Iron Man. That's the Brickheadz character I think I'd like to see the most (outside of the amazing exclusives that I'll never own).

Man, Simpsons House is another one of those sets I want to want more than I actually DO want, like the classic Batcave. Like, I think it's the whole opening dollhouse setup making each "room" look incomplete and too small to me, versus a modular style setup. Plus the outside is of course a little simple by necessity of the original design, so it's nothing too mindblowing. So it ends up being a set where I like the idea of it a lot, but don't think I can justify the actual set.

Simpsons House is an awesome parts pack in the end. The mini builds and furniture inside are ace, since they are what Bessa is best at. The rest of it though is just decent.
Edit: This sounds weird, but if Bessa does get to make a modular, I want it to be a furniture store. Just let him show off all these tiny builds in one place.

I really like your engine mod, I'm definitively tweaking it myself, currently considering options. It's hard to find proper views of the back of the first trilogy Falcon with engines low/off, though :/
With what did you replaced the dark tan parts? Grey equivalents?

I've altered my engine mod from my posts a few weeks ago. It's now made of hinge plates, to get a better curve. I may have fixed the middle of the curve too high up, because the gap underneath shouldn't be that big. Will take another look tomorrow night.
Yeah replaced all the tan with nearly all LB-grey.

The exteriors of the buildings that Bessa has done have been okay builds. The best parts are the interiors.
But, all his buildings so far are based on existing properties. I would love to see what he would design for an exterior where he had free reign like the other modulars.
