games nowadays depict neither the truth nor the reality of our world but instead focus on their developers' version of the truth which is often heavily influenced by their own agendas and personal preferences.
and it's somehow their prerogative if you ask me, people of prodigious talent have left the gaming industry and people have taken over who are trying to propagate their own belief system through games and thoughtlessly impose them on the audience, so why not. the scales need to be tipped back in favour of normalcy now because too much 'diversity' is now taking it's toll. don't get me wrong, I am all for diversity and I appreciate games that risk getting a worthy enough message across like TLOU2 but I don't respect games that hide their overly political/social agendas under a veneer of low-quality gaming experience.

the new editorial team has yet to begin their work so I wouldn't get my hopes up, but I agree completely, I said a similar thing about AC a while back that this is a make-or-break game for Ubisoft. at least for others, I lost interest in them when they went pseudo-RPG
