My guess at what will be shown.
Halo Infinite.
Forza 8. This is going to blow minds by all talk. New engine, full 4k/60 and Ray traced. Will make GT7 look last gen.
Fable
Perfect Dark. No game play, just a teaser clip with some CGI to build some hype.
Flight Simulator
Hellblade 2.
Everwild.
State of Decay 3. Apparently the graphics improvement from 2 to 3 is going to be big.
New Obsiden RPG. Obsiden have bulked up big time under MS. AAA all the way.
A new game from Compulsion Games.
A new COD game.
Assassins Creed Valhalla gameplay.
Cross Fire x
A Japanese exclusive game.
I expect another 5 or so third party games such as Cyberpunk, Dying Light 2, Fifa 21 and a new Tomb Raider.
Could also be an announcement or two of new studio aquisitions, such as The Farm 51 and or Bloober Team.
If this comes to pass, it will be the most impressive show this year.

Does Microsoft have the marketing rights this year? Otherwise I wouldn't understand why they would show CoD. Also one other improvement to your list, which I believe will be show, Elden Ring.

Not that. Noting from Compulsion yet, probably not Crossfire X and definitely not COD. You will also see The Medium Gameplay(confirmed), Elden Ring(Confirmed), Shin'en's Xbox exclusive racing game and probably a better look at the likes of Bright Memory Infinite. There will be a few surprises too. I also felt like Jez was not talking about State of Decay 3 when he mentioned Undead Labs(he thinks the announcement will be more impressive than Halo Infinite, Playground Games and Hellblade II or its just Jez being retarded again).

I think there will be a new one from Complusion.
We happy few came out 4 years ago, so they should well and truly be into their next game, especially given more resources from MS.
COD will release a new game next year, and MS did have Ghosts at the Xbox One reveal. I think they will repeat that again.

We arnt talking about an exclusivity deal of any kind. Lots of games get announced at Sony and MS shows that they dont have a deal with.
EA didn't show any COD off at its June showcase, and they will have a COD next year.
They have to show it somewhere.
I may be wrong, but we are just guessing what we will see.

That's not the IP i contest. As i said with the team and their career i'm waiting for a cutting edge game (NEW IP if possible) like at Sony (Uncharted or other)

Shadowrun has more depth than Cyberpunk to be honest.
But ultimately depends on what the studio does with the IP. That said all FASA IPs have more depth than what trying to compare them with, I hope Microsoft also brings back MechAssault. But I dont want Initiative to handle this(this project would be too big for them), I would expect it from a studio more focused on RPGs.

Just finished a run through the MCC & Guardians at the weekend. It was an all terminals & intel run. Reminded me yet again just how glorious Bungie Halo was & how far the franchise has fallen, under 343's control.
4 & Guardians are not terrible, taken simply as basic FPS games. They're quite good actually. But compared with what came before, they're just pale imitations. & that storyline... Good god it's complete & utter trash.
Infinite has so much to do if they want to recapture some of the old magic. I'll be watching through my fingers when the show starts in a couple of weeks.

The guardians story line was absolute garbage in my view. I didn't find the storyline of Halo 4 to be bad though. I didn't really like the Prometheans that much as enemies though.
But even after 343 got their hands on Halo, it is still one of the biggest franchises. Many people tout Halo 5 to be the best Halo multiplayer. I wouldn't know. I didn't play any multiplayer after Halo Reach.

I just can't get along with it & never could. The way it retconned the Forerunners & just flung in the whole rampancy idea. Bleh. It cheapened the original story, for me. I think they should've just made stand-alone games set in different points of the timeline. Like Bungie already did with ODST & Reach. But this is an old argument.
Like I said, the new games are fun enough, as AAA FPS titles. I'll still be getting Infinite. I just hope it's something of a return to the original style.
