They remind me of the 1st Resistance Fall of Man, just with less interesting characters. This is the time we should be picking our jaws up off the floor. This is the time for the best set piece moments from the best games in the pipeline. Yet I'm reminded of a PS3 launch game....
But what worries me more:
Why isn't MS showing us stuff captured from a Series X? 3-4 months to launch, what's going on? Hardware manufacturing issues? Units Overheating? Naming confusion and the techs setting up the shows grabbing X Box One X instead of X Box Series X?
I'm a hospice nurse, and right now, X Box management may need my help more than they'd want to admit.....

To be fair to whoever that is posting they are right. Development goes up to the deadline and then straight past it.
Code 4 months out from release is far from complete and showing a demo can be quite an effort in such an unstable content base.
But, Sony had the same to contend with and did a better job. You compete with your competition.
MS are supposed to be the globe spanning software company with all kinds of work flows. Now they want to complain the tech wasn’t ok to work during Covid.
It’s fine - I can see that, but it’s still not a good advert for their products and services vs Sony. It’s difficult to imagine that without Covid, MS would be doing much better with their messaging.

The 12 TF thing ain't happening. This box is bottlenecked. The only footage of XSX we have seen is old jaguar games. Everything else is PC, PC,PC. Shit is spooky.
Right now Im thinking MS are hitting walls & are struggling with the XSX performance. Why else is all their showcases PC footage & disclaimers.
Imo Sony hit those wall ages ago thats why the Ps5 is designed the way it is now.
2 big next gen showcases & footage is still PC. It is a hella suspect. The PS5 I/O set up,SSD, high clocks.Im very ,very ,very convinced alot of games are not making it to XSX.And if this this bitch is 3d stacked in the tear down. With speed differences latency etc games will skip XSX.

the issue is that Phil dicked around for an entire gen, delivered a total of 0 goty caliber must have exclusives, and somehow managed to fuck up next gen launch. this is all on Phil.

After the Xbox showcase debacle, I'm starting to think those rumours of late devkits are true. It's not that MS are dumb and don't want to show gameplay from their own devs, it's just a matter that they don't have any to show besides games that were already in production when they bought the studios. Pandemic screwed everyone even more.
Halo Infinite is a case on its own, do we have proof One is holding Series X back or 343 is just plain incompetent? Damn, the game is supposed to launch within 4 months, and MS doesn't have the luxury to delay it or they'll have a One X/Crackdown 3 situation. To know RT is coming later just add to the insult.
They better not have emptied their barrel with this presentation, because so far Xbox owners will get a watered down Halo and no Forza, Fable, Everwild, Avowed, SoD3 and probably Hellblade 2 till 2022. All that's left seems to be Gamepass fillers, timed exclusives and third party games. Not even The Medium is a exclusive.
