Halo 2 was 9 hours....
Spider-man PS4 was 20 hours... more for platinum.
10 hours plus maybe 10 to 15 hours for completionists is loads. It can still have expansions.
Well Hellblade is 7 hours... must not be worth the asking price. Heard the combat in that wasn't up to much either.... so are you going to give that a pass but not SM:MM?Remove the pointless Easter egg hunts for the obsessive compulsive from the length and what you have is an 8 hour game. Silly to compare it to Halo 2 one of the most famous/successful multiplayer games of all time alongside its 9 hour campaign.

I would rather have day/night missions.More interested if they will finally add a day/night cycle. Something that should be standard for an Open world game.

I am tired at the "irrellevant vs annoying" constant passing of time in open worlds
Did you not watch into the spider-verse? Miles is a huge character now.I would hardly say people are dying for a Spiderman game with a side character as a launch game. HALO on the other hand IS Xbox. Its a big difference.
I gotta admit, I'm not seeing the difference here
piss filter the screenshot

Like halo? Oh, nevermind.Psst. HD Ports are always a full generation ahead. They port a game to the next generation and add graphical effects, improve resolution and sometimes even redo character models.
We don't know price or anything and there a re quite a few other games launching at the same time... Death Loop, Kena and all the multiplats like COD and CP2077.wasn’t hellblade like $30? Also not holding up a console launch?
Looks good for a launch title, the ray tracing reflections and the higher rez textures on the ground are the obvious upgrades. Spiderman PS4 was one of my fav PS4 games so i can't wait to swing on the PS5 in 4K 60 with the dual sense controller. BTW here is a better comparison with actual reflections and black suit in all the different tod on PS4 Pro, the game still looks amazing and not too far off SM MM
I think this is how the 4K 60 mode would look like, SSR instead of ray traced reflections, more dense world and higher rez textures maybe.I bet if they had to them this was Miles Morales most would have believed it.

looks like the pic in op. way closer then the other one compared anyways.
Show fucking gameplay i am getting sick of this shit
And if that's true it'd still look better than Halo .I'm saying the biggest title we have for launch window on both systems is DLC for a PS4 game with some graphical effects on top.
They never said half as long, they said the overall scope would be like Uncharted Lost Legacy which doesn't give the time to beat the game just that it's a smaller spinoff. The journalist gave a guess on how long it would takeThey said it was half as long.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales Set a Year After Spider-Man, About Half as Long
Insomniac Games also hinted at a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PS5.www.google.com
well we did get ITSV Peter Parker outfit.I hope we get the Into the Spider-Verse costume as DLC:
This would be great too:
Yep, I wouldn't even mind if it was checkerboard 4K, it looks fantasticThe character is much more detailed in Miles and the light is much more accurate and natural making the all scene much more grounded and real.. and what starts to make me go crazy is that it seems to have some kind of dynamic global illumination system in place.. but if it’s rt based it seems to me that it would be so expensive to properly run at 4K/30... if insomniac managed to pull something close to epic with lumen in addition to RT reflections this game will look gorgeous.. my eyes are not ready..

And also keep in mind that this is an open world game
Does scope mean time to beat?Common sense would look up the average play length of Lost Legacy and compare it to Spiderman PS4 length.
We're literally comparing screenshots of identical character models and animation, in the same city.
This is exactly what we'd see in a remaster / HD port announcement thread.
Sure it looks better, but it looks like a big DLC for the first game with some extra graphical effects thrown on top of what they already had. Basically exactly what everyone said.
Remember how good the first Spider-Man reveal gameplay trailer looked. Don't get too excited.
Revisionist history, don't mind him he's trolling. The game we got looked just as good, so gd ppl made up shit like puddle gate bcus thy couldn't find anything tht was downgraded. The reveal trailer looked really good, but so does this picture. So...???
Edit: Oooh you mean the 2018 game. Yea I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
Why are they so afraid of showing gameplay?
Yeah but most people can't tell the difference or care, so whatever it is the reception from the public will no doubt be positive. I just don't understand these marketing campaigns where they barely show anything until like the week before launch.Because it's going to overall look like a 4k render of the original on PS4 with RT reflections. I've come to the conclusion that both companies are reluctant to show gameplay because it's not going to be the next-gen quality everyone is hoping for. But that's just me.
