So you think it ok if they Make like example another Switch console update with like longer lasting battery and not improve the specs whatsoever and charged it 450 will you still buy it than. But non commodity products aren’t priced based on what they cost to make. That’s not how it works.
Sounds good. Just got to transfer the account over. Wonder what exotic take Nintendo will have With moving saves.Store Credit

I have no problem paying 500 for a PS5 though since it has more than enough specs under the hood to last me all through next gen. The Switch OLED has 2012 specs in 2021 and who knows when the next version will come out so.Switch OLED gives you an updated screen and slightly more storage for $50 more. PS5 makes you pay an extra $100 for a disc drive.
My point is it underpowered outdated. Im truly disappointed and hurt by this news i myself own a Switch and wanted to upgrade but not anymore. No I won’t. But people will. What’s your point again?

$499 is too much for a $399 system with a $20 disc drive.I have no problem paying 500 for a PS5 though since it has more than enough specs under the hood to last me all through next gen. The Switch OLED has 2012 specs in 2021 and who knows when the next version will come out so.
I’ll wait for a plus extra promo towards the new Switch!

If you already have a Switch and it working fine than there is really no need to upgrade to this best to keep it and wait for a truly worthwile upgrade.I’ll wait for a plus extra promo towards the new Switch!
I disagree the only reason they priced it at 399 is to try and undercut the Series X.$499 is too much for a $399 system with a $20 disc drive.
While I agree that Nintendo's products in general are expensive for what they are... The series S is pretty expensive for what you get the kind of money it cost... At least the new switch has an OLED screen, but it could use much more storage. How can such an outdated hardware of a console be priced anywhere near $350? It's so underpowered yet, it costs just $50 US Dollar less than a PS5 Digital Edition. The Switch OLED is now more expensive than the Xbox Series S is,
It's a Switch with an OLED. You don't even have to buy it. It's really weird how people get wound up over these completely non-essential electronic goods. If you don't like the price then just say BYE. It's as easy as that.
I still love Nintendo though but you just have to call something out when it like this. I been waiting months for news bout the Switch Pro and they give me this my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.I'm glad that your Nintendo induced, crippling depression still allows you to meme.
You can't be this stupid.$499 is too much for a $399 system with a $20 disc drive.
It fine if you want to buy this revision of the Switch Bender but people making a point about how it not a good look for Nintendo also has a valid point. How dare you be so insensitive to Craig's trauma. You heartless bastard!

Series S is selling at a loss so is the Series X and PS5 Digital and Disk version. No i don't not agree with you that it expensive considering if you try and build a PC with a Series S specs it gone to cost you 400-500 plus. While I agree that Nintendo's products in general are expensive for what they are... The series S is pretty expensive for what you get the kind of money it cost... At least the new switch has an OLED screen, but it could use much more storage.
There is plenty to critique here and i did just that. The specs did not change and it already way underpowered, the price actually went up by another 50 wile basically changing nothing but the screen panel. if any other gaming company try to pull this stuff off they would get roasted alive but since it Nintendo they can do no wrong which i completely disagree with thus i made this post.No they don't. It "not being a good look" is a point purely about their own expectations and their own personal criticism of Nintendo. There is nothing to critique here, it's the price of a completely optional product. Some people will buy it without any hesitation and some won't. Move on.
I mean, PS Vita went the opposite direction and switched from OLED to LCD with the Vita 2000. $249-299 MSRP to $199.There is plenty to critique here and i did just that. They come here see specs wars and think that the average guy who barely can surf the internet cares how many tf is a new Nintendo switch. My parents were calling every console I owned super Mario. I was playing on PS1 and they were telling me not to play so much super Mario and when I wanted to buy PS2 they were against it because I did not need a new super Mario, but you can say they are from old generation. I work every day with 80 people and most of them are 25 to 40 and very few have any understanding of technology past YouTube and Facebook scrolling. So many people still don't get it. The vast majority of consumers do not buy on specs. They buy on perceived value.
Which game system has Zelda, Pokemon, and Mario Kart?
The Switch is not a 9th gen console. And when this gen is over, the switch will be the leader of gen 9.
Best console I’ve ever owned.A PS5 Digital Edition wich is trash
It's actually quite off-putting. The way they retort any argument against Nintendo's shady practices with "BUT X WILL SELL ANYWAY SO IT DOESN'T MATTER!". They're like battered housewives.Nintendo knows how to milk their sheep
I don’t see anyone saying that. It's actually quite off-putting. The way they retort any argument against Nintendo's shady practices with "BUT X WILL SELL ANYWAY SO IT DOESN'T MATTER!". They're like battered housewives.
The Series S is in no way expensive when compared to the Switch, nor "for what you get" either, which is a console capable of 120fps, 1080p+, ray tracing, and comes with a 5000GB NVMe SSD, has Game Pass, etc. While I agree that Nintendo's products in general are expensive for what they are... The series S is pretty expensive for what you get the kind of money it cost... At least the new switch has an OLED screen, but it could use much more storage.
$50 cheaper than PS5 and it plays Nintendo games.
I don’t see anyone saying that.
Yes it did not meet my personal standards i was expecting 1080p handheld and 1440p docked but what i get was it did not change at all.You can just ignore it then and stick to whatever gaming set up you think matches your value expectation then. There is no essential reason for you buy this so why do you even care about the cost? You just have a weird problem with Nintendo and people buying Nintendo things because it doesn't meet your personal standards.
Am i the only one that play my Switch exclusively in docked mode? im sure i can't be the only one in this world. They are underpowered i know the games are not demanding but still i would killed for a 1080p handheld and 1440p upscaled docked switch but was devastated when they reveal this. So? Get back to me when you can play your PS5 on the train or in the car.
Referring to Nintendo hardware as “underpowered” etc is stupid, I thought that argument was left behind years ago. It’s only underpowered if it can’t do what it was supposed to do properly. It does what it is made to do very well, which is why it’s selling gangbusters and will likely outsell the PS5 for the next few years.
We can compare a handheld from 2017 to a 2020 loss leading console, but can't compare said console to itself with a disc drive? You can't be this stupid.
