I want my babyback, babyback, babyback......
This. A Marvel-like Thor would have been ok too, but I think that being like these folks is a good fit for a fictional character like this one while also probably matching the looks of how one of the strongest viking warriors could have been.Ever seen a frikkin' strongman?
This is much closer to the mythological Thor than your Marvel movies. Do you really think a strong Viking would have cared about his 9% body fat? F*ck no!
It's a fictional universe. They don't have to stick to have to being "accurate" to anything.Err Kratos is not a mythological character so it can be what the devs wants.
Thor is a fans red haired mythological character… and I expected devs to be accurate.
How many adult male child will become suicidal if they read an authentic book about spartan cultural quirks?
He's fatThere, fixed it for ya! ;D
I asked because sometimes the main warrior is stronger in fights compared to the king.Odin is the ruler of Asgard... he is Thor's father and he created the Thor's hammer to begin with.
He is an old, one-eyed, long-bearded god welding a big spear.
He sometimes walk across mortals disguised with a cloak and a broad hat (he looks like a old mage by Tolkien standards).
Yes he is the ruler... the strongest Norse God.
As i already said on the post above yours, Thor was more popular than Odin despite being weaker. And meme effect turned him into Zeus, which probably was a downgrade as most of us know. Zeus was a far worse person morally than Thor ever was.I asked because sometimes the main warrior is stronger in fights compared to the king.
So odin can whop thor's ass, interesting...
that is one heavily armored belly button coverThis is disgusting!!. Its completely unrealistic that a male can go into battle with his chest exposed, its like:
look at that!!!!! how is that battle gear? huh, huh?
Alot of yall don't get not pussy...
Thor was the only one strong enough to even lift Mjölnir. Dude even needed a belt to wield it, so he's quite literally a weightlifter. In the real mythos, this whole "being worthy" was basically just being strong enough to hold it.
If he couldn't lift the weight, he could never have obtained the hammer in the first place.
What good is the god of thunder without his mighty weapon?
Now please let this thread die.
You just know Kratos is going to get sucker punched from across the map by the hammer.
Why would any of god of war be respectful? The design isn't respectful to Germanic mythology. Germanic people wouldn't have imagined Thor to be an overweight man-child.
However, I wasn't expecting a respectful treatment of Germanic heritage. This is God of War, so of course they're going to give it their own spin. Still can't wait to play it.
Why would any of god of war be respectful?
It’s a mythology…. And a game loosely taking from it. A fake thing taking from fake thing
My take is that he got too fat for his chestplate, and just opted to go without it. The God of No Fucks Given. My only slight issue is his upper body armor doesn't make much sense, otherwise no problem with the body dimensions or look. It's not Marvel Thor
