I don't expect a lot of new game news in the next few months. June has a couple of conferences so everyone is saving the juicy stuff for then.

If Sony has multiple big announcements to make not sure why they would spread it across a single week without any build up. Seems pretty wonky to me. If you have something huge along with PS+ subs why would you not bundle the announcement together or have one build to the other and dominate the news for a week?

Seems odd to announce subs, wait 2 days, announce again. That is some wonky ass PR.

That makes a lot of sense and would probably be true last gen but this gen Sony's communication has been really different.Like studio bought dropped out of nowhere and less hype building.

In all seriousness, all this shit is just co-ordinated bullshit between the lot of them. Think about it, when was the last piece of actual 'breaking news' out the blue from any of them? Related to blind sided releases or astounding news. This is just the equivalent of kids shouting 'fight fight fight' on the yard and trying to trick people into running towards them and forming a crowd.

There is a reason why gaming as a hobby is still considered immature. As a person who plays games, yeah we have to take our share of the responsibility but equally so do these clout chasers, clickbaiters, 'jounalists', hyper sensitive degenerates, virtuous developers who think they are here to give sermons etc.

You know why no one, literally no one saw the Blizzard-Activision purchase coming? Because leaking acquisition information about publicly traded companies is a crime.

Meh. Too many insiders and too little info. No way is this an acquisition. Because none of the insiders knew anything about them BEFORE they happened

So if it is a something-burger, it's going to be related to an actual game/IP/set of IPs. That's my guess

Sony and Microsoft would have to close the deals on Bungie and Acti-Blizza before making any other multi billion dollar purchase, and this kind of talks happens at very high levels, journalists wouldnt know.
