I might actually burn their HQ down if they decide to pull this off of PC like they are with Ghost Recon (or R6? I forget which exactly).

It looks so amazing and if it fixes the couple minor problems in 2 which it should, it will play amazing too.

The problems weren't minor though. Quite infuriating game.

But there are certainly fixable and I am very interested in how this turns out.

As an aside, I'd really like to buy this for the PC for the superior graphics/framerate/view distance, but it's Ubi so it will probably be laced with a trojan that wipes my HDD or something. 360 version at least I know won't be a graveyard in the first week.

Well that makes sense then. I don't see how a company that had two of the most successful shooter franchises at the start of the gen (GR and RS) managed to go 4 years without releasing a sequel to either title. Come to think of it, it's been 4 years since FC2 as well.

Clint Hocking misses the point, and cant make the game live up to it's potential.

I wished they had stuck with Africa, tropical island has been done so well by Crysis and FarCry that I don't feel the need to revisit. The FarCry 2 setting was much more appealing to me. If they just patched out those darned checkpoints...

I'm cautiously optimistic. I loved Far Cry 2 for the map editor, but the online community died within a month. And I wanted to like the campaign, but I couldn't handle it.

Hopefully this new Trailer will show some awesome things.
