No, not all.It looks like this game is to Viewtiful Joe what Bayonetta was to Devil May Cry.

Ask yourself this: Are you actually going to see those characters at that camera angle for gameplay?
WOW! Looks incredibly fun. A very pleasant surprise after the press conference. Don't understand the negativity?
looks like a ton of fun!
This, Pikmin 3, and Rayman for launch. Lego City Stories, Mario, and Zombi U for holiday. I'm set... I'm getting a Wii U.
It looks like this game is to Viewtiful Joe what Bayonetta was to Devil May Cry.
...any more than they did for Viewtiful Joe? Or Gotcha Force (which granted, wasn't part of the Capcom 5, but might as well be, considering it was the only Capcom GC exclusive left after Dead Phoenix got canned)?

People are just bitter Nintendo didn't unleash every game they are working on, but only the ones coming before the holiday season. :\
I don't understand the hate in this thread. This looks fantastic! Bright, fast and I'm sure there is loads of game play nuances in it as well.
Why the hell aren't developers utlizing the extra power in the system???
Seriously

not you too :/Ask yourself: Why were such assy-looking characters put in the trailer if this wasn't the case?
You mean their entire 1s spotlight in the trailer? You do realize those are models that normally occupy a dozen of pixels on the game screen, right?Ask yourself: Why were such assy-looking characters put in the trailer if this wasn't the case?

The characters don't have enough polygons on them! How the hell is this going to be a good game without millions of polys?
I'm talking about the style. Obviously this game isn't a 2D sidescroller. If by viewtiful joe you mean Pikmin...
I've played them all.You should probably play Viewtiful Joe... and Bayonetta... and DMC. Because no.

Because they want to have hundreds of characters on the screen at once?
The reveal for this game could've been way more awesome. Hell, the reveal could've been Kamiya walking up on stage, typing up one of his strange twitter replies, and leaving during the video. I would've been happy with that even.
Why didn't they even mention this at the conference? Graphically not that great, but it's Platinum so it will probably be pretty awesome.
I'm not sure why you want them to waste work and money for high-poly models when 99.9% of the time you play the game with a distant perspective.Ask yourself: Why were such assy-looking characters put in the trailer if this wasn't the case?
lol
"Next week in games magazines."
This has been the most refreshing glass of RIGHT in a steaming hot mess of WRONG that has been the majority of E3. I can't get this game out of my head. It speaks to me on so many different levels. Platinum Games is one of the very few developers that is still carrying the torch for GOOD FEEL GAMES. This is the kind of shit that would have come out in the Clover days. P-100 looks SO old school too, almost like something that would have rocked the scene during the SNES era. PERFECT. It's also the kind of game that doesn't belong in today's market, but at the same time NEEDS to be there.
I would feel so on top of the world right now if I was Platinum. With Anarchy Reigns & Metal Gear Revengeance and now this...forget about it! Shame on people if these games don't do well for them.
