The fans sure did. XIII was the first mainline FF I did not finish and the demo of XIII-2 was even worse. I realised the series was dead then.
But from ashes we can build it anew. Let's just hope LR sells even worse.
And FFXII zodiac version needs to be translated ;__;

Watching hopes be raised only to be dropped from such a height they hit the ground at terminal velocity is truly something.
It's funny though, the moment I hear something good coming out of Square Enix, my hopes raise to about 1% maximum capacity at most. If they announced Versus XIII for like October 2013 right now, and showed awesome new footage, I still wouldn't have any faith until playing it for myself. I can't take their word for it or buy into footage anymore.

Serious now, Serah and Noel are great, you will love it. And XIII is great besides Vanille.
XII's localization is a masterpiece... XIII and XIII-2 are a big step down from it.

lol, sorry but Ali's work as Lightning is fucking terrible. At least Maaya Sakamoto puts some emotion into her performance.

Japanese people generally have more emotion. Comparing the first BERSERK OVA between the 2 languages proves this well enough for me.
Dunno about that, but I much prefer Ali Hillis as Liara.
Also lacks Vanielle for a good portion of it. Thank god...

Just took down the Eden turtle for the first time in like 6 months.. krist I always forget the order for it until a few tries in.

No, but Lightning in XIII-2 is out of character since she does a whole 180 in her general "will not serve deity. Will decide own fate" personality. Toriyama just said screw the first game.

FFX and FFx-2 came out in a very different time and boy have times changed. FF 13-2 was the highest selling ps3 game in Japan in 2011 .... At 800k
Right, but X-2 didn't have a humongous drop in sales like XIII-2 from its predecessor.

DID YOU GUYS SEE THE SONIC 2006 TRAILER?! Sonic animates a lot and the graphics look soooo coooool. I heard they got Akon to do a song! I don't know who he is, but they got a major artist doing something for Sonic again!
That game is gonna be so awesome. I bet I'm gonna play it several times! It's going to be one of the best platformers of the generation, I'm sure of it!!
I remember that game having two commercials and a lot of people in my high school, even if they weren't into Final Fantasy, digging it presentation-wise (well some for obvious reasons). Those commercials actually got a few girls I know who barely played games to buy it. I don't recall hearing anything similar about 13-2, though I'm in uni now... And the market's a different place. The kids in tutorials who were looking forward to 13-2 on launch day were the ones who dug FF13, but otherwise I didn't see a lot of people talking about it.
Never mind that it's one of the best and most fun FF games.
It's actually kind of boring even compared to Sakamoto's performance. And that isn't Sakamoto's best performance either.

I had to do the math reading this and remember if it was 10 years or not since 10-2.. did you take a break between high school and college? Or you're in a longer than 4 years program? Actually it was closer to 8 eh..wow only 8 years. So if you were a freshman you could be a senior now eh. Neat.

Of course not. It's backed by factual evidence.
Its her shoulder pad that I turned into glowy green instead of the original yellow one. I don't normally use images without some alterations because they are not unique, but I will try and do some for you, and I can't guarantee a 100 x 120 because sometimes the original image won't fit these dimensions without being distorted to hell. Will post the new one as soon as I can though.
