Their transit system is worse than ours though...I constantly hear my mtl coworkers say bad weather increases time spent in transit.

I'm hoping I won't have to deal with transit much if I live within walking distance of campus.

Montreal is pretty cheap compared to TO.

The sale price that I've flown in at was always $300 roundtrip, but usually I had booked it pre-christmas during that sale. AC and Porter are pretty much lockstep in pricing. Your alternative may be just to bus it through/drive. Not going this year, so can't quite help you out.

Porter is your best bet, trust me on this. Just for the access and not having to truck out to Pearson. They constantly offer sales. I have at least 3 promo codes in my email, PM me if you want one.

Am I doing it wrong if the north one would be my first experience? I read a couple terrible reviews but they were from a year ago when the store recently opened and was probably going through some growing pains.

Never been to the original but I don't like the one at Yonge/Lawrence at all. I'm not sure if that means it is bad or I don't like their style of burger.

Hit and miss on the west end. The ice is bad in patches, especially where condos have blocked the sun, but really, not as bad as I was expecting. Still tons of snow everywhere though.
