Hope you guys enjoyed the Injustice presentation we gave today

It was great and thank you for all the love you gave all of us over at Test Your Might and for having Crimson Shadow get up there with you for some Q&A. That was truly classy of you guys and we were all excited to hear the TYM shout outs in general.Also big shoutouts for breaking out Black Adam, Raven and Deathstroke since a lot of folks were wanting more of them. The only characters left folks seem to be wanting more of are the 2 unannounced final characters and Bane who didn't really get to showcase a lot vs Batman in a lot of people's eyes.

If I could ask you a question I'd like to know if its possible NRS could do an update breaking down character gimmicks? We're still shaky on our understanding of what everyone does and just a bulleted list would be really useful to us.

I don't know if this is known information, but how does controller setup work in this game? I know you can finally set your buttons during a match, but what about swapping controllers? Will I have to back out to the main menu on the Xbox, or will character select have a "press start" prompt? This kind of thing is really annoying, 'cause I like to play on stick, while some of my friends play on pad.

Of course, on PS3, it's very trivial, since you can swap controllers through the Home menu.

lol a lot of the capcom centric FGC shits on MK and a lot of other games, even japanese ones. Can't really go through a majors stream without half the idiots trolling the game if its not mahvel or AE. MK has grown it's own community and even though MK9 has been the most successful MK in terms of breaking into the FGC at large, the amount of trolling they got from capcom inclusive people would make anyone angry at a capcom centric player talking shit about their community or game.

I'm actually liking the diversity going here, its great. Seems like the popular choices is Green Arrow/Nightwing.

I hope to get this not too long after launch, but I'm one of those people that's interested in pretty much every character. I really hope the Green Arrow is good in this since his character has always intrigued me. Otherwise, Nightwing might be my regular.

Of course, the day I tell my friend that I'll end up getting Injustice is the day my car completely dies following a week where my TV died from an unexplained explosion outside and power surge which apparently made my PC's power supply go crazy as well even though they're both on a surge protector..lol

Check this out in case you missed it. Deathstroke has the sickest crossup I have seen in a long while. More than a body length behind the dude and almost on the last few frames of his jump nearly on the ground and he STILL hits it.

Contact 5 top marvel players confirmed interested in Injustice and then contact 5 top MK players confirmed playing Injustice. Setup an event venue and run first to five sets and see which team wins.

Get Perfect Legend, Pig of the Hut, Slips and whoever else for MK crew (whose the guy who beat perfect legend with Sektor?) and then grab Chris G, F. Champ, J Wong, Mike Ross, and someone else for Marvel and run it.

Even before MK9 dropped and the scene was still more-or-less self-contained they'd be constantly sniping at the mention of SF4 or whatever, or coming up with really flimsy justifications as to why having to share venues with Capcom games would be bad for the scene and how they don't actually want their game to become popular with the broader FGC--all bullshit based on nothing but grade-school resentment, of course, but it still persists even now.

I know that most of the people who actually play MK seriously and will be repping for Injustice are far more sensible than all those other clowns, and that they're not all that different from your average SRK poster, but it's still really embarrassing to read.

The MK community has been probably more open to capcom games than capcom gamers have been to MK becoming a legit tournament fighter. I play both types and visit both SRK and TYM (among some others) so I'd like to think I'm being at least pretty fair. It is definitely not hard to see why the MK community may be defensive unless you've been isolated from stream chats and such.

Green Arrow. I called him before he was even announced and said if he was in I'd dress as him grow the facial hair and dance "The Bernie" as well as main him. I keep my promises.

I've got a full folder of Reaction faces in full gear ready for this venture and I cannot wait to use him. I lucked out that this time I called what looks to be a really decent character to main.

Other dudes who I am interested in learning though are Black Adam, Shazam, Grundy, Flash. Truth be told the roster is so good I could enjoy anyone honestly.

Or, instead of being mad and accomplishing nothing with all that mad, you guys could show up at majors for this game and wreck champ and anyone else who doubts you. If he doesn't show up to any of them anywhere? Call him out on that.

Believe it or not, but Champ is not a bad person. He does what he does as a means to egg people on and show up for shit involving their own game. He did it before with persona. He said he would never play that game because the prize pots are chump change since it isn't big enough. That's him daring the P4 community to grow in size and become something more than that game people cared about for a couple months. Honestly? This is no different. I don't know about the MK community, but the capcom one essentially gets it's drive through competition. Shit talking and things like that drives their players to continue to be better and the crowd loves them for it.

Seeing as how you took the bait and got upset (which is what he wanted, by the way. For you to be all "We'll show that asshole") you might as well do it. If not to prove him wrong, than because it would make this game stronger and that would make this scene stronger.

Everyone who plays fighting games benefits from a community growing and becoming stronger on all fronts. I don't think it is too far fetched to believe that champ sees that. Some people may not agree or like his methods to "inspire" people to play harder, if you will. Just the same though, I doubt he means ill will to anyone.
