Viva's source was Duncan Wright....
"Wouldn't put my neck on line if I wasn't confident of sources"

Hmmm

Madrid getting the Bale money from United.

Benzema to show up all of ye wrong this upcoming term. Bottler? that tag is for Higuain, not Benzema. Benzema could score 50 goals and win Real Madrid the tenth cl pulga and you alongside footygaf would still think him shit just because its Benz. I'm done trying to convince you lot. Benz has nothing to prove for madrid for he has already proven himself and I am convinced he is the man for the cf job. Especially considering he shares the same pitch with CR7, the ultimate ball hogging primadonna.

Also, attacking my missus is imo done in extremely poor taste. I do not knock/insult on yer SOs footygaf, I would appreciate though not expect, the same treatment in return.

Meanwhile, I wonder if Beckham would consider a role in Real Madrid in the near future?

Again, it's not your fucking job to convince us. Benzema needs to convince us. Not you. Him. Say it with me "not me, HIM".

He has far from proven himself.

And who the fuck has insulted your wife?

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Talk of Deuce going to the MLS. I hope it happens, he scored some clutch goals but Gylfi shits on him, with Chadli Townsend back there is no place for him. If we can get our money back it will be a great deal.

FootyGaf, I know literally nothing about Liverpool's latest 20 million transfer target.

Should I be excited?

Watch out, I asked something far less dramatic about Isco once and apparently I dont even know his nationality now lololololololol

"WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United on the brink of mega deal for Cristiano Ronaldo reunion

MANCHESTER UNITED are locked in advanced talks to clinch the stunning return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford.

United and Real Madrid have spent the past 12 days negotiating an £80m package – and the Premier League champions are increasingly confident of getting their man.

David Moyes made his move two weeks ago when the club heard through the grapevine Madrid had stepped up their interest in signing Gareth Bale.

And for the first time they found their Spanish rivals prepared to negotiate after the player told them he would be interested in returning to England.

New United chief executive Ed Woodward made contact with Real president Florentino Perez in the knowledge Ronaldo had yet to agree and extension to his current deal at the Bernabau which has just two years left to run.

Starsport understands Perez then sought assurances Ronaldo would commit to the new deal – and was stunned to learn he was keen on returning to Manchester instead.

That forced them to open up to United’s advances, knowing they would only get a fraction of the fee for one of the world’s best players if he stayed another season.

It also explains why they are prepared to break the world record to ensure they clinch the signing of Tottenham star Bale in an effort to appease fans worried by Ronaldo’s departure.

United's move for Ronaldo has been sparked by talk of Gareth Bale joining Madrid
United have been happy to talk openly about their interest in Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, with speculation surrounding that transfer meaning work on the Ronaldo move could be done without fuss in the background.

In a highly complicated package, Starsport understands some of the money in terms of wages will be offset by American car giants General Motors making the Portugal star their global ambassador.

Chevrolet, owned by GM, become United’s principal club sponsors at the end of the season and see Ronaldo as the ideal man to boost their image globally, and in North and South America during World Cup year.

Kit manufacturers Nike have also been kept informed, as Ronaldo is one of their main sporting ambassadors.

The bid for Real ace is one of the reasons why Wayne Rooney’s proposed move to Chelsea has been held up.

Despite public claims they do not want to sell the wantaway England star, United would be willing to do business once they can get in a marquee signing of their own. Madrid have stepped up their interest in Bale this week. "

Still blows my mind.

Definitely Ronald.
My fav. player up there with Zidane and Buffon. One of the best left backs ever and his free kicks....holy fuck, simply out of this world. The curve, the power, the speed...fuck, no one can take a free kick like Carlos did. It will be a long time before I see someone that has his qualities again.

His free kicks were quite shit though...that one was insane, no doubt, but the rest...

This Ronnie returning to United is even more ridiculous than Bale going to Real. There's 0% chance of Ronnie leaving.

Maybe not this summer but he won't finish his career at Madrid. He has two years left on his contract and I can't see Madrid offering the 20m euros net a year that he wants and could easily get elsewhere from one of the oil clubs.

Zabo:

Regarding Pogba, it's easy. Loan Marchisio or Vidal to United.

I wouldn't be surprised if he meant Teh Benz.

My dream is to one day see a Pogba - Verratti - Vidal midfield. We were so close. :/

Timulove: "YOU'LL SEE IT NEXT YEAR!! PSG!!!!"

Not denying that, discussing which one people would prefer. United have always been interested in Bale due to being seen as the new Giggs, add to the fact he is younger too and has more playing time ahead of him.
I'll take Ronaldo.

The story makes sense. If Madrid are sure Ronaldo won't sign a new contract, they most likely wouldn't risk selling him with only a year left on his contract, where they'll most likely be forced to sell at a lower price.

For United, I doubt we would have gone in for him unless there was financial backing from other companies like Chevy and Nike. It benefits all parties to make the deal happen this summer. Madrid buy Bale and it'll lessen the impact (they hope) on Ronnies departure.

We'll sign Osman and Britton

Transfers don't work like that.

They weren't that great in what they were supposed to accomplish true but they had everything I mentioned above, especially the speed and power. Now if he had just scored on most of them...:p

edit: let's not also forget his running speed. Guy was insane when it came to it, I still remember when he'd go up and take a free kick and then run back like a mad man to his position :lol. Seriously you won't find many left backs who were as offensive in their play as him, at least not at his quality.

The Star isn't a credible source though is it. I mean don't they just print any old shit?

I don't want to get my hopes up; just buy Osman and be done with it.

I seriously don't want to live on this planet if we "swap" Ronnie for Bale.
Hey, you still have Khedira! :p

Why not, if Ronaldo is set to leave, Bale is the perfect replacement which is currently available. Very similar to Ronaldo, young, would suit Madrid playing style and give him a couple of years, he could potentially get to the same level.

Of course, Madrid is the only club in the world who has the power to make the best players in the world leave the teams they play for.

Since when in history does that happen? I honestly think Bale won't ever reach the same level as Ronaldo. Another player, 10/15 years down the line will though.

He has the confidence of the majority of madrid men, only here and certain areas does he lack support. It matters not. Benzema has the confidence of Carlo and Zidane, and that's all that really matters. You will see the light soon enough. Or maybe never. Oh well.
Just do not be spiteful when Benz scores and performs well. That would be silly and very sad to witness. and I have witnessed many who are against benz who were spiteful when Benz does well for madrid. and boy twas sad to witness.

I actually misread on the last bit so nvm. However, I have been insulted before on footygaf and though I do not care what you say of me, my missus is a different story.
