You can't really. Not sure if they are really getting better at their PR, since it seems most of the time there's a bit too much doublespeak going on and far too often someone sticks their foot in their mouth. Not sure how Penello can believe that licensing bit as good reasoning why we can't see a live demo. There are some really easy ways around that. Also, it's a representation of a live demo which means its not, but some will take that at face value.
Microsoft is the only source some will trust, but far too often they've shown that they'd much rather twist up the truth instead of giving it to us straight. I know that can be hard if the company has screwed up, but you lose a lot of consumer confidince if the one source that should matter can't give you a straight answer.
Well it seems to be OK, but consider that the video doesn't show snapping during gameplay.

I mean come on man, this is straight up bullshit that they wouldn't be able to show the UI in real time due to licenses. How about instead of a video of Titanfall running on PC, you show Forza. Change the video content to Halo forward at dawn and MS studios trailers and stuff like that. Something to ease the minds of the hardcore that are going to pay 500$ for your damn console.

Proelite has also hinted about xbl issues in his posts. And he wasn't the only one, if i'm not mistaken.
As i've said, there have been several people, here on gaf and also twitter, who have hinted at several issues regarding several aspects of the new xbox.
To put this whole thing as a "cboat/thuway/fm" conspiracy or something against microsoft...well, then again, it is jond.

That looks like a controlled demo of the UI, not the actual UI. He is pointing at the screen with one hand while supposedly moving the cursor around and selecting things. Like a glorified Power Point presentation.

I just hope people realize that a certain amount of issues with BOTH consoles networks and software is/was unavoidable. I'm certain there will be some hiccups with Sony's system as well.
However, it does seem like a bad thing right now that almost all of the negative information/rumors is centered on MS right now. Especially considering how overwhelmingly positive the media was on the X360, even thru the RROD years, it seems a bit ominous to me.
