gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Is there a comprehensive list of Greenlight games that have been part of bundles which having them on Desura would result in getting a steam key once they're available on Steam?
I have a ton of games on Desura that weren't on Steam when I bought a ton of these bundles.

In addition to the link Deques posted, I've compiled several lists of greenlit games that have been in bundles, although note that Steam keys aren't necessarily guaranteed:

- August 28th batch
- September 18th batch (both games were also IndieGameStand deals)
- October 2nd batch (McDroid, Vox and Zombies were also IndieGameStand deals)
- October 16th batch (see below)
- October 29th batch
- November 12th batch
- December 4th batch

And just to fill in the aforementioned gap:

October 16th batch said:
Fester Mudd: Curse of the Gold
- Build a Greenlight Bundle (Groupees)

Fotonica
- IndieGameStand

Neighbours from Hell Compilation
- The Humble Weekly Sale: Nordic Games

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart
- GamesRage
- The Crack the Case Gamer Bundle (StackSocial)
- The Halloween 2 Bundle (Indie Royale)

Ravensword: Shadowlands
- Humble Mobile 2 Bundle

Real World Racing
- IndieGameStand

Edit:
damn it capcom!

Edit: Blood Dragon is 3.59 bucks on Gamersgate

Not a Steam key, though.

I messaged the dev about it and he said that it was a driver issue so it's still entirely possible, but it has to do with using the USB. Sometimes I would unplug the USB and bam it would go BSOD, but if I just use Bluetooth, no problems.

OK, I gotcha. I've been using bluetooth exclusively since it was available so I haven't been affected.

I love using the DS4 but I've been using the x360ce method for it to get it to work because the other method (the one with the server) wasn't working for me with most games.

Which xInput wrapper are you talking about and where can I get it? I'd be interested in updating my usage if it's the x360ce one or maybe switching over if it works as well as the x360ce one (the only game I couldn't get that to work with properly was SR3 so far).
Same, it's my favorite controller now. I used to use the x360ce method until I found the xinput wrapper. Pretty much guaranteed compatibility in all xinput compatible games.

Thanks -- if that's the original coder, I thought he had given up developing the program due to having screwed up his DS4 trying to get the additional features to work...
I wonder if the stuff works better now... I remember trying to get it to work with Rogue Legacy and Spelunky and having 0 luck. It worked with Sine Mora though.

I'll have to check it out and try it with rogue legacy shortly.
Yeah it is the original. He's still very active, later this week he's releasing an updated beta version with less input lag though BT and adding the ability to use the touchpad (so you won't need to have two separate programs running to use both the controller as an xinput device and the touchpad as a mouse). Excellent software.

Has no one ever mentioned BetterDS3? This was a lot easier to do than using the xinput thingie IMO.

Doesn't work with the DS4 though, right? I hate the DS3 and would rather use anything else over it.

Anyone here using the Saturn controller USB pad ? Best d-pad ever, but is it easy getting it up and working?

I'm looking for a metroidvania that is as good as Aquaria. Can anyone recommend one?

Maybe a bit controversial, some don't like the humour, but I very much enjoyed Guacamelée ! Mexicovania

Speaking of Electronic Super Joy a few pages back I remembered I got a reply to my e-mail asking if I saved my butt or not.

If you read the story, it was to get revenge for your butt. No happy ending implied. XD

The message is... revenge is, ultimately, unfulfilling? Or, you know, maybe something else.

:)

Someone mentioned that one before as well, but I don't like that game's style at all. I'm gonna go with Valdis Story instead. Thanks anyway guys.

GTA franchise sale, please!

Hmm, I actually bought that, must have been on some PS2-nostalgia trip. Oddly enough I never touched any of the games.

OK! I also heard Ys is pretty good, but haven't played it yet

I've had my eye on the Legacy of Kain collection, but they NEVER include the original Blood Omen(my favorite).

I believe it's not even on steam, lemme check.

edited: yes, it is not on steam (Blood Omen).

edit2: one has be careful Gamersgate collections, as games in them sometimes have different DRM.

It's not without it's flaws though. I've gotten a blue screen a few times, though rarely. I still use it fine about 98% of the time. Driver issue.

I went from motionjoy+Dstool to motionjoy+betterDs3 and now, my pads feels really like plug and play ps3 pads. It is ont like betterds3 is doing the same as dstool, it is doing the same better and also has unique (like auto-connect) features, which make the experience really seamless.

Ugh, what exactly is the point of Uplay? It's the most barebones shit-fest I've ever seen. It makes Origin look almost as good as Steam.

avoid paying royalties to steam.

Tha tis where putting uplay for steam releases of ubisoft games is beyond stupid.

Yeah, I've noticed that with the Tomb Raider collection(Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld use Securom). The Steamworks versions don't have that filth.

The 1st Blood Omen was developed by Silicon Knights and published by *Activision*. There's the problem I guess.

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
I swear Steam is trolling me. My marketplace items sell whenever the items I want stop having discounts.

Dark Souls has been a ton of fun so far. I helped three guys beat Ornstein and Smough, got a ton of souls, and then beat them myself(yay).

If they don't patch GFWL out, it will be a total loss.

The 1st blood omen is very unstable (early windows game). Even on virtual pc with Windows 95/98, you have to slow down the cpu to avoid bugs and freezes.

That sucks. It was the best version too because it didn't suffer from the PSOne load times.

Witcher 2 is much more fun in chapter 2, even though I spent a lot of time in the dwarf town but I kind of hated the map in flotsam.

Cognition isn't that good, I can live without episodes 3-4, I think.
I know steamgaf isn't fond of Daedalic and their games can be frustrating, but I think I'd rather finish Deponia than Cognition.

My one complaint at the moment is that the PS button brings up big picture mode. Which in turn throws an error... so...

Is there a way for me to (1) tell steam to disable big picture mode (it's not for me!) or (2) tell xinput to stop using the "guide" button to bring up big picture mode?

AFAIK no. Kinda annoying I agree (expect first time I found it useful couple of days ago, I was sitting far from my PC and couldn't bother walking next to it so I just launched BPM and opened another game :p)

Cool feature (if it still works?): holding the button anywhere for 10 seconds brings up BPM even if Steam isn't active.

I've decided to craft a badge just to jump on the snow globe party wagon at least once.
But then I realized that I don't really care for my games with drops remaining (or I don't like their badges and backgrounds).

So I thought of asking here for some suggestions for games with cheap cards and cool badges/backgrounds.

Thaaaaaaank you!

Port Royale 3 not applicable. :p

Is US GAF awake? I need someone to get me a copy of dragon age ultimate edition.

I can help you I think if the AU version is the same ($7.50US?)

Heh I did the same. I chose CS:GO because it was cheap and the badges inoffensive. http://ehsankia.com/steam/cards/#btnsmalltext Since then the set price has actually gone up 10c...so looks like the globes are boosting the market by a cent or two.

Is the Australian price the same with the Canadian one?

Why is Port Royale not applicable?!

Call of Juarez badge is not bad and cards aren't expensive
Risen 2 (I alredy posted how it looks) has very nice first level badge (2 lvl isn't this good though)
Left 4 dead 2
Mark of the Ninja
Guardians of Middle Earth

Most of badges aren't impressive and backgrounds even less, imo.

I'm sure I haven't bought new games yesterday and my completion rate dropped back to 17%. What magic is that?

What the- Dragon Age: Origins is $17.49 here, after being 75% off too.

EDIT: Now I want to get it from someone cheaper. I didn't want it before but the fact that it's overpriced in my region, compared to others, makes me interested for it now.
