Sony goes on to say "we were out of stock," but doesn't say PS4 outsold Xbox One in December.

I figured. So PS4 still maintains the lead even though it had supply issues? I'd say that's a win for Sony. Microsoft is still playing catch-up.

That means xbone sold 1.2 mil outside of US. WOW!!!

And with that my predictions were torpedoed

Hopefully I can still pull off a top 20 finish for the year. I have a 5 spot cushion.

EDIT: I guess, PS4 could be 850k or something, which wouldn't be too bad for my predicted units. However, those points for the correct order will be sadly missed.

Very interesting although January when demand falls below supply levels will be a much better indication of things to come.

Well done to MS on beating Sony in the US with $100 higher price point and a weaker machine. PS4 was severely understocked in the US, though.

360 did best in the English speaking areas of the world. U.S., U.K., Australia included. Makes sense that XB1 would follow the same trend.
