I expected this one to be the best of the bunch (check out my tenuous [and sexist] thesis regarding this matter in the thread about Ray's show), but I had trouble liking it. Having someone phone in was a really bad idea. Everyone's zeal to not slight the caller at the end of each conversation was so pitiful to observe, I felt cheap myself. Alice should have seen this coming: it's her show. The golden rule seems to be (Three Moves Ahead has taught me this): unless everyone's phoning in, have no one phone in.
However, the sex game discussion was good. I mean, it led nowhere, swiftly subsided and you could feel people becoming uncomfortable with Frank, -- but it was a start. Many gaming related podcasts sport a lot of sexual innuendo, yet are still hosted by resentful puritans, rather making do with sex' existence than appreciating its reality and power.
Ray's show was the best. He's even more likable when he's forced to speak, because he's the host. I thought I would like Alice's the best, then Frank's, then Ray's. But it's the reverse order, now that I've seen the results. My vote goes out to Ray.
