I'm in the middle of watching season 1 on Netflix, I wish they had season 2.

Wait... what?Medalion said:Gwynnifer = Britta in the bottle episode, mind blown

The Bottle episode, when Jeff is on the phone talking to Gwyniffer, that was him actually talking to Britta as a code their date was not going to happen
Gwyniffer was also a twitter persona that attacks Dan Harmon from time to time
It's not that important, I just thought it was cool

I knew about Britta/Jeff hooking up (people in here thought me and some other who agreed, were reading into the show too much) but I didn't know Gwynnifer was referring to BrittaQuick said:I just went through the Reddit post about this from 9 months ago.
Mind = blown.
Yeah, I didn't either. It's definitely cool, too! I'm going to order S1 (again, ugh) and S2 from the US so I'll be able to find out for myself but it's interesting to hear this info seep out.Medalion said:I knew about Britta/Jeff hooking up (people in here thought me and some other who agreed, were reading into the show too much) but I didn't know Gwynnifer was referring to Britta

1) Don't listen to Solo; he doesn't even like the episodes of Season 2 that are considered by most to be top tier for the show (disliking Mixology, I can't even)Razorskin said:I'll have to if it doesn't show up on Netflix.
I can only speak for the R4 release, but I'd assume it's the same for the UK as well. It's not even like it's a tiny difference, it's really noticable to the point where you can't tell the difference between Glover, Pudi, McHale and Harmon on the commentaries. I haven't watched the episodes without the commentaries, but I can only imagine they'd be the same.mclem said:I can... from here in the UK. Buh?
I really ought to get around to picking up the DVDs. I assume from comments earlier in the thread I ought to steer clear of the PAL ones and go straight to importing the US flavour?

2) There are a lot of other ways to watch a show..

The Best Buy version has an extra feature starring Yvette Nicole Brown with something about the Halloween episode I believebeat said:I was in the US for Labor Day weekend, and I stayed an extra day so I managed to get Community at Best Buy before heading home. Hope the disc has some Best Buy-specific features or else all I got for my hassle was the cheaper-than-Canada price.
Holy... fuck... shit... whoa. I always wondered who Gwyniffer was. I knew it wasn't the teacher he dated the previous year, but I had no idea. Never put it together.Medalion said:I was listening to the commentaries

Where's this?bengraven said:I had my first laugh of Season 3 when the Dean walks by and lightly touches Jeff's shirt and he looks over and is like "smh".
That last shot in the trailer. Fucking Bollywood.
Also, John Goodman is going to be great. Love me Goodman, despite his past.

I either have a poor memory but it kinda occurs to me there is a helluva lot more swearing in general in this DVD than the previous by a factor of 200%
Really crass jokes, even by Gillian and Yvette
Totally caught me off guard
Gillian is so much more comfortable and loose when she's not acting just shooting the shit with her co-stars, and therefore naturally funnier, but when she tries to act funny on screen it comes across kinda awkward and that is part of her appeal.GoutPatrol said:I thought Gillian was probably the star of the commentaries. Top form on everything. She and donald breaking into the birthing episode commentary screaming about sex and rubber cement was great

The KFC episode shoulda been the two parter imoJasoco said:Anyone who hates the KFC Space episode is no fan of mine.
I think it's a hilarious episode but just about the entire base of it is ruined for me because the character motivation is outright stupid. Annie would never ever do what she did in Rocket Science.Jasoco said:Anyone who hates the KFC Space episode is no fan of mine.
Medalion said:For those who did not get the DVD from Best Buy, it contained an exclusive bonus extra not on the other copies, a behind the scenes feature starring Yvette Nicole Brown around the Season 2 Halloween episode
However it would appear this feature is now available on the Sony DVD Community page at this link that Yvette just tweeted
