Curious what the replies in this thread would be if it was a man posting pictures of a nude 16 year old fat kid on social media for everyone to laugh at.

Like, I'm missing which part of this story is warranting all the kid gloves responses. This is straight up a sexual offense and she's lucky she won't be put on an official registry. A few months of jail time is not an outrageous punishment for publicly sharing nude pictures of an unknowing, unwilling party.

Should we have the same "hmm woah now, let's think about this" attitude about revenge porn too?

Because she's hot my dude she doesn't deserve it!

Probation and graffiti cleanup.

A former Playboy playmate criminally charged after secretly taking a photo of a naked woman at a Los Angeles gym and snarkily uploading it to Snapchat pleaded no contest on Wednesday and was sentenced to probation and community labor.

Dani Mathers, 30, will be under probation for three years and must complete 30 days of local graffiti cleanup, according to a court clerk.

I know people wanted her to do some hard time for this, and it wouldn't be unwarranted, but this isn't a terrible outcome. 30 days hard labor and completely trashing her brand is a somewhat satisfying penance.

Pleading no contest opens her right up for a civil suit too. Hopefully the victim cashes in.

Yup. I'll second that.

I've had clients that I've gotten pretty much this exact same plea (30 days Caltrans, which is cleaning up the freeway). Many who haven't even gone through half have actually asked if they can go to jail instead, and they were people who've been to jail before so it's not like they didn't know what it's like. So it's actually not a bad outcome.
