Devil's Third on IGN now Wii U Exclusive

You know which game that looked better than this last gen despite also having some flaws?

People were hyped about this game until it was announced on different hardware.

Hopefully the game can get the gameplay and graphics polish that Itagaki is well-known for!

Sounds like people were hyped for it before it resurfaced looking like shit but whatever.

Wow, this looks uh, yeah, wow.

Edit: I watched the gameplay demo first, but at least the trailer made it look nice and zany, I suppose. It could be worthwhile if it's fun.

Edit 2: Fruit collecting mode just pushed this into a buy.

I wasn't prepared for how bad it was gonna be. Shit shooting. Shit AI. Clunky movement. Shit effects. Shit graphics. Shit acting and mission design. People wouldn't even be giving that a second thought if it wasn't itagaki.

The chat on the YouTube stream for IGN has some of the most vile anti-Nintendo comments I have ever seen. This game does look kind of awful though and I really love me some Ninja Gaiden.

Lol this is exactly what the footage reminded me of.

And WET looks better and from what I've seen of the gameplay in DT on that IGN stream plays better than it too. I loved NG1 & 2 modern action classics, but what his shown so far? Looks like it's from a third rate dev.

Come on man. It's way more than that. That gameplay isn't delivering on that first trailer at all. You could say that about a lot of games but this doesn't even look fun. It isn't helped by the fact that it looks dated in almost every department.

Indeed it kinda looks worse than the 2012 trailer, but that was probably bull-trailer anyway.

Singleplayer looks acceptable, multiplayer graphics looked gross though. It was nice to see a clan system and a territory USA map akin to Planetside 2 however. (although I can't imagine it having the same map system, probably more traditional)

People that think Nintendo is not winning this e3 is full of it. ;)

and they're not.

They showed an amazing first party line-up... for people that already have a wii U.

Basically if you like Nintendo stuff this was "the best E3 ever". Everyone else will just tell you "eh...".

Haven't seen the trailer. But to do such a sudden move to Wii u gives me a odd feeling itaguka knows he won't make a profit off this game. And moving it to that will be "the reason".

But he makes good games. He's worth the wait ,even the system.

This looks...I don't even know. Not very good.

The core mechanics look really janky and awkward, that damn near instant ADS is really jarring.

Wow, these impressions are brutal.

Is it possible that the gameplay was bad because the guy didn't know how to play? I can't watch the stream.

Its just looks really janky and DAMN ugly. Like there's no transition animations between third person view and ADS and shit. Its rough, bro. Itagaki hit hard times.

No dude, it straight up looks like an early last gen game bad and when I say "early last gen game" I'm not talking about graphics.

It looks like a Japanese dev in 2007 decided that they wanted a badass western third person shooter with lots of foul language and blood and attitude... but they hadn't quite mastered the PS3 yet so it looked sort of rough and not at all competitive with what else was coming out. Stranglehold, Wet, Quantum Theory, and Mindjack are all sort of comparisons that float in my mind.

It doesn't look like an Itagaki game and that says a lot. The game doesn't even look hard, but that could be for presentation purposes.
