Don't know why they aren't posting updates, but James was a guest on a recent stream and said they don't want to compete with QC so the game's delayed.

I think their backers deserve better.

This Kickstarter should have been a red flag for everyone. A crowd-funded, indie arena shooter? That's practically a guaranteed failure. Old-school indie multiplayer games are usually dead on arrival or shortly thereafter. There's simply too much competition in the multiplayer space and people tend to stick to one multiplayer game for years. Even if this comes out, I'd be very surprised if its community survives more than a week.
