I believe Mm already confirmed they are looking at ways to export. I may be wrong.Dreams going to PC makes sense as it pretty much is a form of a game engine, mouse and keyboard controls on that is a dream!
I wonder if theres gonna be export tools available?
Can you tell me a PS5 title going to PC?And it sure won't be the last no point in getting an PS5, since their multiplat games are even worse looking compared to Series X lol
Can you tell me a PS5 title going to PC?
What are you guys smoking if you think Sony are going to put their PS5 games on the PC in the next 3 years?
If you can wait that long then fine you're in a monirity and you were never going to buy a PS5 anyway but if you think for one second this is going to affect the sales of the PS5 then you're crazy,
huh? they are putting PS4 first exclusive games on PC. why shouldnt they do the same with PS5? The PS5 userbase will be very small at the beginning, so it would make sense.. bigger userbase == more software sales == more profit

"hurrr?"
Because PS4 games are about to be a generation OLD, and Since PS5 is backwards combat why not sell the old games on PC. PS5 Game would remain exclusive to move consoles.
Dreams is a special case, that game will live or die on what creators can make of it and giving creators on PC access to it can take it a long way.Old games? Dreams is not released yet.
Dreams is weird because I've been playing it for a while but it isn't officially 'released'.Old games? Dreams is not released yet.
Don't waste your time dude from the looks of it people will make any excuse to why there're exceptions to games yet to be released on the ps4 coming to pc.Old games? Dreams is not released yet.

I think Jim and company are the main catalyst to this "new" strategy
Has nothing to do with "omgz morz pplz get to play" smoke screen because Sony could of done this at the beginning of the generation like Microsoft did.
So why now
I'm not sure what your angle is here. Do you think PS5 will release games simultaneously on PC and PS5 in the future? Is that what you're getting at?Don't waste your time dude from the looks of it people will make any excuse to why there're exceptions to games yet to be released on the ps4 coming to pc.
Releasing the Dreams creator kit for free and charging PC players to access the network of creations seems like a good way to get a lot of creations from that market without much effort.

His bias does not automatically invalidate the information.I wouldn't place too much stock in a Tweet from the news editor of an outlet with a history of shilling for MS like Eurogamer!
That's not a first party game.Godfall, first announced PS5 game is already confirmed on PC too.
If Dreams works anything like the previous MM titles, each stage has some kind of software-calculated thermometer that reaches a max "temp" when the level becomes too filled with objects. But what will happen with PS4 version? If people are creating "dreams" with PC, it pretty probably those "dreams" doesn't works on PS4 or run bad.
I actually hadn't considered this. How does such an agnostic future work with a platform holders 30% sales ecosystem? Yet another PC store??
I can understand a streaming service being self contained, but publishing your titles on another’s platform is just game sales, a far cry from owning a whole platform.

Beta dreams worked with the thermometer but will Sony lock performance from PC version to PS4 stats? PC players will angry with that

It's still a PS4 game it should run fine. Why even worry about that, let Sony worry about that. But what will happen with PS4 version? If people are creating "dreams" with PC, it pretty probably those "dreams" doesn't works on PS4 or run bad.

Yeah I like his idea. They could just put a thermometer in with 2 markers on, one showing PS4, and a higher level showing what your rig can handle.
That way the player can decide for themselves if they want to make something PS players can play too or not.
So if this came from PushSquare it would hold more relevance?
I actually hadn't considered this.
Selling their games through Steam or such would only hurt their bottom line, since the profit from individual titles is small change compared to the revenue such 'advertisment' exclussives bring in from sales of other games on their platform.
But, if they're planning on creating a Playstation PC store, and having crossbuy for any game sold on Playstation or PC, and thus able to get PC players into their ecosystem, that makes sense to me.
Hell, that way if you want to play games in more than one room, or more easily let your kids play multiplayer games together with each other and/or friends, well now you have a reason to buy a Playstation, since you already own games they can play for it.
The answer is likely obvious; only older, select games will be allowed to venture out. Likely games that are there to entice the purchase of a sequel only available on exclusive hardware

Please do not put words in my mouth, I simply stated that people will make any and every excuse to why Sony games are appearing on the pc and yes I believe, IN THE FUTURE, Sony will indeed start releasing their games simultaneously with said PC versions.I'm not sure what your angle is here. Do you think PS5 will release games simultaneously on PC and PS5 in the future? Is that what you're getting at?
Dreams isn't a traditional game. I mean have you seen it? Of course it's an exception. It's not a game designed to sell PS4s by any means and again Sony isn't interesting in selling PS4s all that much anymore. The generation is over it's done.. who cares if the games make it over to PC.
I fully except games like God of War and others to make an appearance on PC in the future as well and I fully expect you to be back to me saying "HAHA you said 3 years God of War is only 2 years LOLZ"
The lack of a bigger picture sense is astounding in these fanboy threads.
Some of the posters in here I wouldn't trust selling Lemonade in a lemonade stand.
