So fans of those games will still be able to see gameplay of those games by going to the same streams they always do?
It would have been nice if EVO set up srkevo4 and let them stream on that so it felt more "official", but a stream's a stream. And there have been plenty of streams for the side tournament stuff at EVO, so not being "official" is no excuse if they end up not streaming.
Okay, I actually looked at the entire stream schedule now, not just Friday's. I have no more excuses for Evo. I don't know what their reasoning is. I like the stream schedule we put together for UFGT 100x better than this, and we started Injustice at 9
.

Part of the allure of having a game be an official Evo game is the hope of expanding your game's audience. By being on an official channel, it would get more viewers who may potentially become interested in the game.

I like watching Tekken but evo gave TTT2 a 12 hour stream, I'm not going to lie to myself.

The only problem being Smash. Replace it with SCV to have namcoevo and there you go. A better system than 1,2,3, which gives the impression of some streams and the games on them being better or more important.

I think fighting games are fucking up my left arm or something. Just got done playing SF4 for a few hours and when I went to use my left arm for other stuff it felt really weak and weird and messed up in general. This isn't the first time it's felt messed up but it was especially profound this time around. I don't play fighting games as much as I used to since I have a lot more responsibilities IRL nowadays, but I used to sometimes go like 6+ hours playing fighting games. I wonder if I've got some kind of repetitive stress injury from playing on stick for so many years or something.
