It really depends on where you live. I'm in Phoenix and it seems relatively cheap to fly out of here -- I've gotten from here to Philadelphia for NEC for about $220, and from Phoenix to Boston for about as much. There are some cities (like Atlanta) that are always a light-up, though.

It's cheaper to travel in most other industrialized countries... but I think people forget how freakin big the US is. I think if Europe was enlarged to that size, their travel costs would not be that much better. And as a political tangent, I don't think passenger rail would work that well in the US, mainly due to the areas that could use (the coastal corridors) it having some absurdly high right-of-way costs, and the issue of most areas not having very strong regional transportation. I think it does make sense in a few areas, though, like Texas (where there's a ton of air travel between cities as it is and right-of-way costs are virtually nothing).

Yeah, rail infrastructure isn't viable because the US's population density is way, way less than Europe's is, making it really inefficient. It works well in metro areas, but nationally is not going to happen.

I fought a good Narukami AND a Yosuke yesterday, shit is soul breaking. Narukami especially, even though they got rid of his vortex his control of space is just too good and you can't escape his offense.

I can't wait for more people to have access to P4AU and for me to be even more ass because I play Rise and I have no hope against Sho/Minazuki/Narukami/Yosuke/all the other top tiers

I would encourage you but I don't know a damn thing about Rise. :(

I play regular Sho. Maybe my top tier will show itself eventually.

Narukami wakeup 5A is too real though.

Well you probably could, but still.

Hell, I always found it jarring whenever people recognize me from the commentary I did way back when. Camera time really is the most important factor to being known, and Flocker doesn't travel a whole lot.
