Great, I am saving it to play on Pro for 60 fps and sharp graphics.
It really is. It's no wonder Yoshi-P was hauling ass to get XVI released in 2023. The game's reception is already polarizing, imagine how it would have been if it released post-Rebirth.Rebirth is 10000x a better FF game.
Many thing I didn't like about the game, but my god is the music good.Should’ve won best music at every single awards show.
ff16 haters right now

Man, this just clams my soul. Such a vibe.
Let's be honest, they're based as fuck.

It's barely an RPG.
Sure. My opinion though it's bereft of many RPG mechanics prevalent in Jrpgs and Wrpgs. Wouldn't call it the best RPG. It's good action game to a degree but it's very flawed. Most jrpgs aren’t when compared to tabletop d&d origins to be fair. FFXVI goes waaaaaaaaay too far and suffers for it but its not like older FFs had great character build depth or any real roleplaying either. Pretty much went out the window in FFIV. JRPGs truly are in their own little subgenre world and honestly thats ok.
On a separate note, many Japanese folks actually do randomly like Wizardry of all things lmao. Elder Scrolls has a decent fanbase there as well.
Thanks for your input, very insightful!FF16? Best graphics?
lmao
I think he might do better with a smaller budget. Which I feel is what needs to happen in general with games these days.I hope Yoshi P and his team get another chance with a bigger budget.
The game is hard-coded to drop to 720p in all battles in the 60fps performance mode currently. Hopefully they'll put out a PS5 Pro patch to fix that.Great, I am saving it to play on Pro for 60 fps and sharp graphics.
