To be fair you can't tell other people what they can and can't be proud of. Especially if those people have been discriminated against due to those immutable characteristics

Nope. That's not the context at allYou posted a recent 5 day stock timeline that barely moved when Kaepernick's ads came out at the beginning of September last year?
But how they overcome the discrimination is dependent on the content of their character, so DeepEnigma’s point still stands.
Gay pride flag may not have started with political intentions, but there definitely is now. It's used constantly as virtue signalling.I didn't know a straight pride flag even existed until yesterday lol. Plus how can a gay pride flag be political? There's no politics in that flag.
Not trying to be nitpicky but this statement falls apart as it would be ousted as a double standard for something like "white power."To be fair you can't tell other people what they can and can't be proud of.
But they are proud of their Jewish heritage because of the their tradition of overcoming hardships which again, is related to the content of character. It can be both. A person in the 1950s could have been proud of their Jewish heritage and what that means to them. And also overcome the discrimination that they faced due to the content of their character. No reason why we have to make it one or the other.

Being proud of being Jewish because you are Jewish is an extremely empty and circular form of pride.
It's crazy to see rod sell out. I remember an interview where he got triggered because cliff named the tank thing from gears 1 the armadillo, Because armadillos dont exist in the gears universe.
The double standard remains and is just being justified from what I am seeing since the principal you have brought up can be applied to every race. For example: I am Latino and Puerto Rican. It is perfectly acceptable for me to claim both Latino power and Puerto Rican power(both exist and the latter is an amazing salsa band as well). A white person can be Polish but that is all that society wants to claim is acceptable. Bonus: This Polish person can have 0 ties with American culture but Americanism gets applied to them as well because they are white. This is something I see when I travel to different countries and these things mostly get applied by Americans. And to be fair to that response, unfortunately, the term "white power" actually was used as a tool to crush other races. But luckily there's no such thing as just "white" people per se. Because all white people have a heritage to someplace that their forefathers called home. And I'm assuming that's where white people can be proud of. Those traditions should still matter in my opinion.

Going to play devil’s advocate but how would some people feel if the game added Christian flags? Or Islamic flags? Or a flag with the Star of David.
I agree with those that games are about escapism. They are entertainment. We want to play them to have a good time and forget about all the problems in the world for just a little bit. If I go into a game that says it’s political and pulls from real world, that’s cool. If I go into a game about people fighting creatures from underground on some alien world I’m not exactly expecting stuff like pride flags or religious flags to be in it. It takes me out.
I mean you don’t go into a Transformers movie expecting to see the autobots and decepticons displaying their ethnic, gender, or religious views on flags mounted on the car forms. It’d be ludicrous. If I go see Saving Private Ryan then I’m expecting that. If it fits the narrative then go for it but don’t do it just because.
Bottom line is I’m not stupid, I know what your are doing. So keep that shit out of my games that have nothing to do with real world events.
For fucks sake give it a rest already dude.Yeah, there is a double standard to some degree in America. But that's 100% due to American history. That stuff can't just be erased just to make people feel better.
The bolded kinda shows your weak spot on the issue though. Flags based on religion should be 100% fine. Why shouldn't they exist in those game's multiplayer?
So keep that shit out of my games that have nothing to do with real world events.
You can support LGTBIQPRSTUV+ and not hate all the white no-trans, no-gay, male humans here on gaf.If u support LGBT then u gonna be on good side of Era but bad side of Gaf.
How to find a middle ground, so both happy?
But i can't feel better with myself if i can't hate on other people happinessYou can support LGTBIQPRSTUV+ and not hate all the white no-trans, no-gay, male humans here on gaf.
Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility.“One thing – the guys here will probably laugh if they see this – but I’ve been telling all the artists nonstop to go watch Handmaid’s Tale… The composition, the color, and just the cinematography and symbolism is just off the charts. So, I watched that and I’m like, ‘Wow we gotta find a way to get more of this stuff in Gears 6.’”
LOL I guess Gears 6 wil have red "paint" everywhere. What SYMBOLISM!!!
Who the fuck cares about diversity in Gears of War?

At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to "Land of Confusion". In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. "In Too Deep" is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I've heard in rock.
Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like "In the Air Tonight" and, uh, "Against All Odds". But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is "Sussudio", a great, great song, a personal favorite.
