He left the Wii-U because he had one already, obviously.
Nah, he took the game pad and didn't realise there was a console to go with it.

Self made snowboard? Any pictures?
That would seem easy to track down if they attempt to sell it.
You folk with theft insurance, who did you get it from and how much does it cost you?
lmao they left the Wii U

Theres that period after your property has been violated where youre ready to spend thousands on new security measures.
..youre being hasty. The feeling of helplessness will go away after a few days.
Buy a 'This house is protected by something alarm systems' sticker online and put it on your window. Maybe buy an IP camera to put in your living room. No need to do more.
When you get that kind of insurance, how do you document all your things? Do you have to have receipts for all of them? I sure as hell dont have receipts for everything in my house. What is to stop someone from documenting all kinds of shit they dont own?
I just dont know how this works but Ive been interested in it.
You're in Seattle aren't you? Mind if I ask what neighborhood? We get prowls and burglaries here in Wallingford and it's a mix of professional burglars and drug addicts from the Mayor's failed experiment.
This is exactly why I'll never live in an open neighborhood. No guard, no thanks. World is too fucked these days.
Got a knock on the door one evening and I thought it was my roommate cause he always left his keys. I opened the door and it was two dudes with guns and they charged in and pushed me to the ground. They were yelling about cocaine and they meant to rob someone else in the complex! I was shook and told them don't kill me and take whatever so one guy went upstairs and took my MacBook pro that I was still paying off and had all my college work, my Wii which was new at the time, and my of iPhone!
Sucked man I would stay awake at night thinking about different ways I could've killed them and had to drop a semester if classes and delay my graduation.

That sucks, no point getting a German shepherd now you aren't likely to get robbed again!
lol @ open neighbourhood comment. Guarded compounds as neighborhoods? That's a bit colonial isn't it? Or the premise of that movie I can't remember by the district 9 guy.
Damn, I hope my neighbours are of the more worried kind if this ever happened to me. Good luck, hope the insurance goes good.Oh and to top it off, the neighbors saw a uhaul in the morning ( the robbers ) and thought nothing of it.
lmao they left the Wii U
sounds like what happened to my friend. He lived in a place that assigned roommates to the same room, and I guess what happened was one night he heard a knock, opened the door two guys came in with guns and robbed him and two of his other roommate. The thing was there was a fourth roommate who's room they never went into, and later out my friend found out the fourth roommate was an ex con and thought the roommate tipped off those other guys to rob them. It also seemed to make sense since when the police asked that roommate why he didnt do anything or see what the commotion was during the robbery, he said he didnt hear anything outside. So yea shit like that is scary

Wait, what.
People live with a guard in the neighborhood?
I'm not American so I have no idea about this? Do you essentially live in a walled/gated off protected area or something?
They're called "gated communities" and are typically associated with rich people and bullshit homeowner association agreements about how your blinds can't be a certain color, your grass can't be a certain length, what kinds of plants are and aren't allowed in your front yard, etc.
America =/ World. This is exactly why I'll never live in an open neighborhood. No guard, no thanks. World is too fucked these days.
Sorry this happened OP. try to get the insurance rolling asap.

I live in Kent... there's a nice part of Kent?
Jokes aside, that shit sucks. Here stories like this every once in a while. Hope for the best.
