I don't think its that, its just during the last few months of him being on the show he didn't seem to contribute much, he might just not have had the right stuff for podcasting, who knows?MoeB said:Wow no mention of Darren Gladstone. They must really not like him...
Darren was mentioned in regards to the crazy PR guy who wanted to kill Ryan.MoeB said:Wow no mention of Darren Gladstone. They must really not like him...
NopeAkia said:Please tell me someone asked Sean how he's enjoying life at Blizzard after being such a avid WoW fan for so long. Too many questions directed at Jeff/Robert/Shawn.
FartOfWar said:Sean was not able to speak as a Blizzard employee in this context so even if someone had asked the question it wouldn't have worked.

Thanks. Using that as an icebreaker was our intention. How do we not feel at ease after reading that?Akia said:Well that makes sense.
I just finished all 3 segments. Half way through I noticed that I had this big smile on my face while I was watching. Its good to have you guys back all together. It seemed like you guys became pretty comfortable by the 2/3 segments, heck even Sean was cracking jokes in the 3rd segment. I think doing the Heroes of the Web sketch early really helped break the ice.

Firestorm said:strem, I hope you listen to Out of the Game!
Truant said:Is Out of the Game any good?
I haven't listened to it in fear of tarnishing the memories.
strem said:Its a really good podcast. Its not all about games but gaming is included. Mostly its a great lineup with great podcasters. Anytime you get Elliott, Green, N'gai, sometimes Ashley on the same cast you know it will be good. I highly recommend it to anyone
Truant said:My fears are that it's the more serious part of GFW that I feel sometimes were a little pretentious, especially whenever N'Gai was on. I liked the light-hearted feel of the usual crew.
The cover of the premiere issue of GFW was considered an homage to the cover of the first issue of CGW, with the prominence of a dragon on both covers.

Any word on when those Brodeo posters Jeff tweeted about are going to be made available online?
Edit: Truant, yeah OotG is good, specifically because it doesn't try to emulate the old GFW. Different, but it's got its own appeal.
Thanks man. All the work you've done to get this together is much appreciated.OmniAvenger said:The PAX posters featuring the Cudgel of Xanthor should be made available somewhere online. Soon, I hope. No firm announcement at this point, but when details are finalized we'll get the word out.

I asked the "How did it go down at Ziff" question =P I didn't really see much time to introduce myself. You were all quite busy up there doing some podcast thing, and I didn't really think any of you would remember my GAF name anyway. Actually, the only two people I think I said "I'm Firestorm on GAF" were Jeff at the MySims Agent booth when I asked him if they patched in Hispanics yet and Jackson near the Scribblenauts booth which I never played because the mob was so huge.FartOfWar said:Firestorm, you were there and didn't introduce yourself?!
It's at it's best when Robert is actually on the show.strem said:I feel ya Truant. The old GFW crew is dead and we must move on. Ootg is just plain different than GFW. Just give it a shot and you may be surprised. Shawn and Jeff can turn water into wine
East-side Subway's close at 2am ;pFirestorm said:The same thing happened to me the night I arrived, but with Subway. 11:55, closes at 12:00, wouldn't let anyone in.

After the podcast I was so damn hungry (stupid people entering that Q&A line later and later every time x.x) I needed food. Before the podcast there was another panel I thought would be interesting so I had to skip dinner. Bad move. Boring panel which I left early to line up for this.
As an aside, downtown Seattle closes its food places too early. My friends ate without me because I was so late so I tried to grab some fast food I wandered around, found some PAXers with a McDonalds cup, followed their directions, jackass at Mickey Ds closes the door on me (10:55, closes at 11). Fuck you Seattle McDonalds. Fuck you. The same thing happened to me the night I arrived, but with Subway. 11:55, closes at 12:00, wouldn't let anyone in.
