I don't like the way this volume ended and some consideration Luna made before her fatal decision, but it's just one volume left to go, so time to wait to see how it all ends.

That was actually more intense and epic than I expected. Lucy with the simultaneous summons for the win. Finally she can rise in the ranks from being the weakest on the team to now being the weakest of the strongest ones on the team. I love how the main cast are now all strong, it seems to be an excellent feature when not even a weak character can get in the way of the action and can truly have some awesome looking attacks and scenes. And lucy at that, excellent. I was hoping that she would have pulled out Loke! Though maybe next chapter.

Arc is swiftly rising on top list of fairy tail arcs, getting Zeref involved, epic plot direction!

This is basically what Suda51 would do if he did manga. A tournament for serial killers that all have their own ridiculous quirks and a psycho nun that worships the anti-christ to stop them. The 4 chapters that have been translated so far are amazing and make me angry that I started it since there's 4 more volumes that need translating.

Also, as much as I love the art in this series, I feel like certain elements lend themselves better to animation (see the Soul Eater anime) than they do to the manga. Kid's fight scene especially stuck out to me as suffering due to this.

Finally, Maka & Chrona time. Hope it all goes well and Team Spartoi gets to the main stage. I think this is the endgame now.

Not really. I really dislike the fact that everyone of the LT joined him and preached him etc It was shonensk.... That meant he had little to no conviction to fight them in the first. Besides it was a bit sappy with my friends follow me because they like me. Besides 7 vs 300 is way ridiculous.

This is a short, 12-page sidestory chapter. It's good -- it tells some more backstory of one of the members of one of the other teams Kiyosumi's facing, and it's solidly done and cute, but the chapter was so short... oh well. At least unlike this month, the first chapter for next month wasn't dropped, so there will be a March 2 chapter.

But anyway, yes, it's a good chapter as always. That character's clearly pretty good, if she can win easily like that.
