I just started playing games again, month or two, since the original release of the PS2 so I'm slowly working my way back in.

Got Infamous from that Best Buy deal but just found the package that it came in buried on my desk. Black Ops os fun but having never played any of the other COD up until a month ago when I got a used copy of World at War, I find that I hover near the bottom of the score board. GT5 is pretty fun haven't played since GT3, but hands down my favorite of the lot is Uncharted, got to play the second one now.


Also grabbed these two because I loved the first one back in the day and my PS2 still works.

And finally a set of trusty Sony MDR V6s sound great for the money, at least to my untrained ear.

I'm excited because of the Fightstick. I've wanted a TE stick for YEARS and Fry's had the Chun-li one in stock. So I had to grab it. DEM THIGHS.

I'm still tripping over the layout sometimes, my fingers are not really trained to hit Control above Shift. Though, for some reason the Delete key being where it is was natural from the get go.

The switches and keycaps on the Pro are ridiculously nice, though. I won't be using anything else for a long time.

Yes, a blue or a red one, those bundles do not come with the Special Edition of Infamous 2 though, but sometimes working at a gamestore has its advantages.

I remember being super interested in this game for a while, then I kinda forgot about it. Definitely looks like a fun experience though. I watched some videos months back of his cancelled SNES game Sound Fantasy that looked really creative too.

Yeah, a bit like the Blazblue character, for sure. This is a strange Hori controller. A mix of the standard Astro green with a chartreuse highlight. Totally against what any sensible design smarts would occupy. Fun stuff, nonetheless, since it is official. I guess I'll use it for PSN content. And a fun one since not too many folks have it!

BTW, leaving for the middle east for my job for a year (read: deployment). No internet, no buying. Might post something from my trip around europe in a few weeks, prior to leaving...maybe Ocarina remake...but, if not then see you next summer 2012! Have fun with all the cool new hardware!

Also, going to a rough place. Wish me a safe return, if it is in your nature. It means a lot to me.

If you hold L+R and then press either Y or X, it changes the color of the screen from black and white to the old green style. You have the choice of either.

Any regular of this thread will be quick to wish you the best. I know I'm a new face to posting in here, but I've enjoyed these threads for 2 or 3 years and I've seen many of your posts and sat open mouthed at the awesomeness within them.
