is there a way to "remap" the number associated to the buttons? Currently I have select mapped as the "01" button, it's pretty annoying to navigate trough menus :lol
Thanks Man, Works Fine!!!Schrade said:Holy shit thanks for your tip.
To translate what he said you need to do the following:
Bring up your device manager, expand the Human Interface Devices section.
Once expanded, pay attention to the items listed as "USB Human Interface Device" Count how many you have without the controller plugged in.
Now, plug in the controller. A new "USB Human Interface Device" should appear in the bottom of the listing:
Right click on it, select Properties and make sure it says what's shown in the image below:
Now click on the Driver tab, click on Update Driver, Select "No, not this time" when the wizard asks to do a search for software and click on Next.
Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click Next.
Click on "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install." and click on Next.
Click on "Have Disk" and steer to the driver directory. I used the ds3drv_dx version. Once selected, Click on Next.
It installs the driver, you can click on Finish.
Ignore the HID-compliant game controller entry. That's where I was going wrong :-/

It's one of the reasons I will never switch to 64 bit Windows. Them forcing signed drivers causes so many problems.Ballistictiger said:It sucks being a Vista 64 user. I want to a driver that works for it.

Am not sure what the BlueTooth part is for... the author says right on his page it doesn't support it.

Supports different modes:
Digital Gamepad(Dpad, without joystick)
Analog Gamepad 1(POV, joysticks)
Analog Gamepad 2(POV, joysticks, analog triggers)
Analog Gamepad 3(POV, joysticks, motion sensor)
Xbox 360 Controller Emulation
Also has rumble support.
Might want to look at post 59 of this threadTheExodu5 said:Here's a better DS3/Sixaxis driver:

Philanthropist said:Yes, it does. Not that PC games take advantage of those though.
Afrikan said:just a stupid Idea here...
for those who don't want to mess with driver settings......what would happen if you got one of those DS3/DS2 adapters for the 360.... u know, so you could use a DS3 for your 360 system...
now what would happen if you plug that into your PC? would the PC see your DS3 controller as a 360one and do all the mapping itself as if it was a 360 plug and play device?

First I thought this was new, then I thought maybe someone had fixed the x64 issues.
Subliminal said:What?!
Why do you want a vibrating mouse and to control games by waving your keyboard around?!

blargh, going to keep on trying :lol
honestly, this is pretty huge news. signed drivers? should be in a new thread.linkboy said:Hate to bump up an old thread, but the motionjoy drives have now gotten a signature from Microsoft.
Dual Shock 3 drivers signed
I've had problems with this in the past, but I downloaded it this morning and they're working great. I'm running Win7 x64 and the drivers installed perfectly without having to turn driver signing off.
I've thrown emulators and the Sonic Fan Remix at it and its worked perfectly fine.
