sfog said:Yeah, it's pretty decent, and I say that as someone who doesn't care much for the original arcade game. Burgertime Deluxe basically keeps the same design and core mechanics as the original arcade game and its ports, but it has more varied level design and has less unforgiving difficulty. Your movement is faster and less stiff than in the original releases, powerups and pepper refills are more common, enemies are a bit slower, and a password feature was added to resume after every few levels. I'm not sure how many levels it has in total (around 24 or so?), as I haven't spent a lot of time with it.

Can you give me the link to where this was said? I remember some survey asking people if they played the demo, maybe it was an "intend to buy" survey on Club Nintendo. IIRC, people seemed to take this as a sign of a downloadable demo but Super Mario 3d Land demos just went live at most best buy locations so that could be the demo the survey was talking about and not a downloadable one.@MUWANdo said:There's a Mario demo coming at the very least. No idea when it actually drops, Nintendo probably won't give us a lot of warning. Best guess is that it'll come with the November update... probably after the game has already been released.
That's actually an awesome idea.M3d10n said:If Nintendo isn't going to offer normal demos, at the very least they could make a Nintendo Video-like app for demos. Have 4-6 demos in there downloaded automatically and cycle them every few days.
That's exactly what I expect. Iwata was specifically talking about "demos automatically delivered", so the logical conclusion would be that they would be automatically deleted as well - same as with Nintendo Video.M3d10n said:If Nintendo isn't going to offer normal demos, at the very least they could make a Nintendo Video-like app for demos. Hoping to get some impressions from GAFfers on how the game is.
So, is it worth the purchase?@MUWANdo said:It came out on the PAL store last week... it's a 2D block-pushing thing, nothing to get excited about.

Believe it or not, some people might care more about what people on GAF think than what people on Nintendo Life think.UncleSporky said:I'm surprised that people don't know by now to check Nintendolife...they review almost all Nintendo eshop games.

I didn't know about this! Thank you, I have been looking for a site that reviews Nintendo Ware content for a long time nowUncleSporky said:I'm surprised that people don't know by now to check Nintendolife...they review almost all Nintendo eshop games.

I think that would be a reasonable compromise with Nintendo's paranoid stance on demos.wsippel said:That's exactly what I expect. Brazil said:Data East's Lock n' Chase is coming to the Japanese 3DS VC. Awesome Pac-Man clone.
Roto13 said:So Nintendo said to link your eShop account to your Club Nintendo account by tomorrow to qualify for coins on the GBA games. On the one hand, that's the closest thing to an announcement we've gotten. On the other hand, that Ambassador Certificate has been quiet since it was released. I dunno if it's supposed to say they're coming shortly before they come, or it's only supposed to let you know when they're already there.
I dunno. I think they're registered as soon as you 'buy' them (which was done automatically in the NES games' case) and if you miss that window, that's it.PigSpeakers said:I don't remember it saying GBA games specifically. It just said "Ambassador" games. So, maybe it only meant the NES games we'd already gotten?

I'm afraid they are doing that on purpose, and a not particularly good purpose, at that.. Like one where they try to obfuscate the 3DSWare scarcity..zigg said:Speaking of which, I hate how the PR doesn't distinguish between VC and 3DSWare. It's not always going to be obvious which is which.

How are you even playing that yet?ReXXXSoprano said:There comes a time where a man has to admit he's wrong. This is one of those times. Anima: Ark of Sinners is a game that should work but just doesn't. Not gonna go too much further into it but don't spend money on it. I'm gonna review this game. I think I owe my hype that much.
