I've already decided to get the Switch day one since the first infos anyway, but damn I really don't care about 3D Zelda games and the art direction in this one just turns my brain off everytime I see it. Previewing this game on a show like that means that it will be available at launch?
We've had motion controls at Wii motion + levels rumored for a few months now... is there something more than that coming?
It's pretty baffling that those bezels are going to be in the final product.
One thing that struck me was how underwhelming Zelda looks on the Switch. Framerate drops aside, it looked absolutely identical to the WiiU version, or even maybe a bit worse based on the low-detail terrain and lack of grass. For a machine that's been said to be almost as powerful as a PS4, this game certainly isn't showing anything of the sort...
So just how powerful is it? So far all the footage we've seen places it just barely above the WiiU, which is disappointing...

Probably because Switch was synced to the joycons that were attached to it instead if the ones sitting on display.Wonder why Reggie didn't use the controller that was sitting right in front of the unit? he ends up grabbing a different controller from under the counter.
Vic's going to be on Gaming side. *airhorn*
For all we know, could be Wii u version on switch just for display purposes. That could be an old build. We will get a better glimpse on Jan 12This was literally the first time we have seen anything actually on the Switch. So not sure where all the comparisons are coming from.

Almost forgot zelda won't be out at launch. Summer does seem more likely now.The switch has never been touted as being almost as powerful as PS4 though.
Its been touted as being a significant upgrade from Wii U, which it is.
How Zelda runs right now is not an indicator of the system's power anyway, as it has months and months until launch time.

Deep analysis based on comparison of one cross-generation game.
Honestly, that would be enough for me. Being able to take games on the go with Wii U fidelity would be amazingAlmost as powerful as a PS4? You can forget that right now. It's not going to be as powerful as an Xbox One either. Slightly more powerful than a Wii U is more likely.

What does he do?
Pretty sure that screen is IPS. I mean just look at the angles Fallon is holding it and each time the color and brightness is uniform only until there's light reflecting off the screen when he moved. If it was TN at those angles it would have been washed out or half the screen be darker.

Doesn't mean anything. Nintendo is known to demo 3DS units with hand selected IPS screens.
Nice find lol, this whole situation is just weird as fuck. As someone who usually can't stand Fallon due to his fakeness and people pleasing attitude, seeing him having a genuine fanboy freakout was pretty cool.Holy shit lol
Why does his tag say Shigeru Miyamoto?
You can literally see his lips saying "And you can remove the controllers..." lol
Holy shit lol
