Well... trying to get on topic: another poster has pointed out that Nintendo rarely uses external engines for their games. But japanese developers have been adopting UE4 for some titles (SE comes to mind), and while NLG is a western developer not owned by NLC, this listing could indicate a more open approach to the engines used.
Of course this is great for third party developers, but what does it mean for Nintendo themselves? I don't recall even knowing the names of the engines they use (have they ever been disclosed?) but I suppose Unreal is flexible enough to accomodate their needs?
