No Splatoon? No The Order: 1886? No Bloodborne?
........
Uhm, I need to see some Alien: Isolation gameplay videos.
Best Social/Casual
Yoshi's Woolly World (Good-feel/Nintendo)

No Bayonetta 2. Yeah ok!
Yay for double standards! Good thing no one will be called out for it.has to be playable but no mans sky is up there like 5 times, GTFO.
I don't know about that. I for one am thrilled to see LEGO Batman 3 get the recognition it so richly deserves. Not much of an E3 this year from the looks of it.
Is Evolve that good? I'm not feeling it like I did Titanfall.

Splatoon: From impressions, its a neat concept, but the actual execution is meh.
Can you link me to these impressions? It's mostly been positive from what I've seen, but I'm curious what the negative impressions have to say.
Lists are subjective. With that said Xenoblade Chronicles X not under best RPG is insane compared to some of the choices.
Bloodborne: No one got to play it, all they say was a hands of demo being played with god mode on
It was during the IGN e3 stream, they were talking about splatoon, and they said that.
They must have been able to play Bloodborne. It is nominated for Best RPG.
Every video impression/article I read about it all said that they watched someone else play it. No hands on time.
Non-Nintendo developed Wii U exclusive? Yeah, they could care less. Then again, since when has any PlatinumGames title been received well at an E3 for any system?Bayonetta 2 got snubbed big time. Guess the press don't give a shit about it.
so they arbitrarily omitted some games for not being playable, and accepted others.
okay then.
Right. A difficult action combat game like Bayo 2 might be too much for them. At least they remembered SplatoonNon-Nintendo developed Wii U exclusive? Yeah, they could care less. Then again, since when has any PlatinumGames title been received well at an E3 for any system?
I think what they did is not accept games that just came with pre recorded videos. MGSV, Witcher and Division all did that. People who saw no mans sky saw them play it, but never got hands on with it.

Why would the Western gaming media watch Nintendo's Treehouse coverage? It wasn't FOR them.Xenoblade?

Does Ori really count as an indie when its own by Microsoft (and published by them)? I mean it looks great, but a strange decision.
Best PC Game
- Civilization: Beyond Earth (Firaxis/2K Games)
- Dragon Age: Inquisition (Bioware/EA)
- Evolve (Turtle Rock/2K Games)
- Far Cry 4 (Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft)
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege (Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft)
Right. A difficult action combat game like Bayo 2 might be too much for them. At least they remembered Splatoon
I see Evolve is taking the most nominations award.
Multiplayer games have all three top spots actually.
Xenoblade X had a 45 minute gameplay demo courtesy of Nintendo Treehouse and a separate 40 minute gameplay demo from IGN.
And it was amazing. And it still didn't get nominated for RPG. what.

Out of curiosity, why is Persona Q allowed when it wasn't playable?
Just because it's not self published doesn't mean that it's not indie. Are Paradox or Devolver not indie either?
